Good move.......2006-09-13

Very good move from "andmooreagain" to say that this cd is very, very bad and to buy the green one. As he wants to sell his copy.... I only know this edition but I think you can buy it without hesitation. I'm not sure the other one is worth the $60 or more. It's a great cd with great songs that give you an inside into what Juanes made before he became Juanes.

all the same tracks, but out of order! the order always so carefully prearranged, vocals and guitars too too pretty with echoes and blurred, the edges the personality and more gone all gone, gone missing also the one English word Juanes recorded I know about to great and perfect effect. I was waiting for that part too. MANGLED! Wonder how they got this mess of medddling past Juanes or maybe they didn't try and don't have to. Buy Colombian not USA in this instance! Get the original UNINHANCED EKHYMOSIS in green without the video and cover pics. Pics are rehashed and BAD too! Unless like me you want everything possibly associated with the man. And the proof, the ******* proof that that notorious one word in Ingles being I guess "potent" not found as such in another language yet replaced by...... well it cannot be replaced only debased with the trying POR FAVOR! NO MAS NO MAS!!!!

Juanes best album.......2005-09-16

Only it is not Juanes' album only but Juan Esteban Aristizabal and Andres Garcia and Jose David Lopera and Fernando Tobin' album. But then I vacillate between every single work associated with Juanes our, to quote another Juanes admirer, our Colombian Guru; every single album is his best. For that certain time, event or just late at night, especially late alone in the dark Juanes and Ekhymosis are heard best, no distractions in the dark except don't start dancing to Sin Rencores until you secure your Ming vase! And Azul, to make you cry, lucious tears, silly tears, lovely tears. In Colombia no one needed to ride any white horse into the highest mountains to find oblivion, all that romantic stuff we well insulated Norte Americano's have time and bordom enough to consider. Death by firing squad is much more likely as Senor Aristizabal, uncle of our beloved Juanes, had in his destiny. Now! On my very radio I am hearing Me Da Igual from Fijate Bien. I forget! That is Juanes best album to be listened to at night, every night by all of us until there is peace in Colombia, and the US has pulled out and stopped pouring poison over the inhabitants and once pristine lands of Colombia's treasure, the Santa Marta Mtns, the watershed of the Amazon, greatest river on our planet. All this I have learned from listening to Juanes and wanting/needing to know what sort of land could have produced such a gentle, fearless and musically perfect force in one man.

After listening to the Juanes CDs, I decided to get some Ekhymosis CDs to see his past work in that band. I was very impressed. This is one of the best CDs I've ever heard. It's an innovative mix of rock and pop sounds that produces a very enjoyable sound. I think I might even prefer this CD to more recent Juanes music (even though I think Juanes is an amazing artist). It's too bad that Ekhymosis broke up.

This is the true Juanes, the one we saw on "Un Dia Normal". An artist with a great energy, a need to make music and let everyone know what he thinks. This album reflects the rocks roots of the now pop singer. With his latest album "Un Dia Normal", Juanes changed from being a revel rock singer to a submissive pop. I know his stuff sells, and that is why he has changed it so much, but he needs to remember he statted to make music in the first place. Juanes please go back to your rock roots.

Si te gusta la musica de Juanes y sus discos como "Fijate Bien" entonces te va gustar este ejemplo del lider Juan Esteban Aristizabal que salio antes de comencer su carrera solo. La musica en este disco es suave, muy alegre y claramente pop rocnEspanol. Una de las canciones estelar es "Raza" con sus liricos que todos somos iguales y que no importa si son
"blanco, indio , mulatto o mestizo sangre del mismo color mas no de corazon." La cancion "Azul" demonstra una bolera rockera que es para bailar muy cerca de su pareja, pecho a pecho, alma a alma, muy juntitos. Para mi la mejor cancion es "La Tierra" que se me parece que se escuchaba por el radio todo el tiempo. "Ama la tierra en que nacistes, amala es una y nada mas mujer que te pario, ama tu raza y nada mas, etc" canta el conocido como Juanes en su voz unico. La cancion tiene un sabor pop flamenco y es bellisima. Es claro que tiene un voz excelente y lo demonstra como crecio a una carera solo.Trece canciones de Juanes antes que habia Juanes. No te lo pierdes esta vez que sigue siendo uno de los mejores ejemplos de pop rocnEspanol.

The best music I've ever heard!!!.......2001-12-01

In spanish class our teacher added a little spice one day to her lesson. We listened to Roca Rosa and Raza and tried to translate it and sing it. I would normally not enjoy the pop kind of sound but I really thought it was great. It was so much fun and the music was the type to make you want to get up and dance. I really enjoyed this cd. The music is so great. Everyone should have a copy!!!
