'Pequeño Luis' and 'Enamorado de Ti' show a different side of Elvis Crespo. I love it when he gets in touch with his feelings. I listen to this album over and over. I love his voice.

I have this cd for almost 3 years know or more. I enjoy listening his music. I gets you in the mood for dancing all night long. It also pumps up your blood whenever you go to the gym.

It seems that the best song he ever made was "suavemente" I mean the rest of his music are o.k. But it seems like all of his songs sound the same. I'ts just like Oro Solido said, that most of the puerto rican merengueros "SUENAN LO MISMO" Yes I'm a huge merengue fan (hasta la tambora) and the only thing that would impress me is if they would use more of their own styles "stop copying" from each other................

What helped this album's popularity is that it rode on "Suavemente's" wings. It sounded too much like it. It was released too soon after Suavemente. It also seems that when Suavemente was made the 10 best songs are picked and 50 weeks later, the leftovers where thrown in it's own album; Pintame. The the blame for this album was put on Wow Flash, a much better album. Sony Discos goes too far to please I don't know who to earn a buck; stop forcefeeding barely bilangual kids in the States this Spanglish [....] Please, no more remixes. It kills me when one of Crespo's songs are nominated and they put that mediocre club version. [....]

Pintame - The Best Album of Crespo.......2001-05-11

This album by Crespo is by far the most diverse. Almost every song has something distictive about it. From the strong merengue beat of Pintame, to the sexy Por El Caminito, to (my favorite to dance to) Eres Tu. If you love merengue, you can NOT miss this album.

I do not like Merenge tracks in English.......2001-11-23

I agree with many reviewers that English versions of the original
Spanish tracks do not sound good. The First remix in this CD is in Engish, and the other 2 also, and it is very good, specially for the beats and rythm. If you have seen the video clip of Pintame, you will like this track. All Elvis Crespo CD singles sold in the US are in English. The Spanish remixes are only available actually in Spain. Like the "baby come to me" spanish remix was only available in the Spanish promo CD. I believe the PINTAME Spanish remix (video version) is on the Spanish Cd single (commercially available, but deleted). I've got almost every Elvis Crespo CD single ever released, and I expect to find many of the English remixes in Spanish because they sound better.

Este CD [Single] contiene 3 buenos remixes del pegajoso tema de Elvis Crespo, "Pintame". Este disco es bien bailable pero solo lo podras escuchar una vez, ya que el "Pintame..." dura un total de casi 8 minutos y luego de un rato ya no lo vas a querer volver a escuchar. Debieron haber puesto dos o tres temas mas a este single. Mejor recomiendo los dos excelentes discos de Elvis Crespo: "Suevemente" y "Pintame". Los dos CD estan super buenos y bailables. Tambien recomiendo "Pasional" de Jessica Cristina, "Amigas Mias" de Sonsoleil, "Caminando" de Tonny Tun Tun, "Alto Honor" de Grupo Mania, "Maria Alejandra" de Maria Alejandra y "Aqui Estoy" de Michael Gabriel.

Not quite "La Cosa"!.......1999-10-03

I love the song Píntame. The music on this CD is fun and danceable, but the English lyrics left me a bit cold. They are not an actual translation of the merengue version which is really a better song. I also miss the backup singers from the merengue recording. I was looking for the version that goes with the music video. For anyone who has not seen it on GEMS jams or Tu Ritmo, it is the techno dance music with the original Spanish lyrics and its great. I bought this CD expecting to find it. Does anyone know where Elvis' fans can purchase that recording? In the mean time, I'll just have to play it on my VCR.

well, I have all of Elvis's cds and some of him when he was in Grupo Mania. I love Pintame, but the remixes in English are retarted. I like listening to the beats, and that is why I bought the remixes, I have the remixes for Suavemente and these are similar. I would not recommend buying it. the beats are more dancable for "club dancing" but if you like the latino chevere cosas then get teh real thing.

When I first purchased this remixed CD, I thought it was going to be in Spanish. Little did l know, it's all in English. I wish someone would of told me this, because it doesn't sound too good in English. Where is the Spanish remix?
