Con este album Yolandita lleno a capacidad el Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce (Escenario mas importante de Puerto Rico) en 7 funciones. Definitivamente no puedo expresar las emociones transmitidas al escuchar este album, uno hecho con mucha calidad como solo la Diva puertorriqueña Yolandita Monge sabe hacerlo. Que lo disfruten.

El Poder de Yolanda.......2000-06-09

Lo unico que le faltaba a Yolandita en su carera era un album en vivo, y ya lo tiene. En realidad debio haber sucedido muchos años atras. Todo concierto de Yolandita debio haber sido inmortalizado en un album. Es una de las pocas cantantes pop que se crece y sobrepasa en vivo la calidad y emocion de un mero album de estudio. Aunque en ese momento no se encontraba en optimas condiciones vocales (tal vez por eso incluye en sus agradecimientos a 3 doctores), cualquier esfuerzo de Yolanda sobrepasa el zenith de muchas otras "estrellas" pop. Ya quisieran muchos tener en un dia de fiesta la emocion y fuerza que posee Yolandita.

El momento mas tierno del show lo es el duo con su hija Paola. Cantan sobrevivire somo dirigiendosela a alguien en especial, quien sera... dejame pensar. LA niña tiene buena voz , solo le falta mas tabla y confianza en si misma.

La sorpresa del CD es Me dijeron. En sus conciertos en vivo, Yolanda siempre canta una cancion que nunca ha grabado y la hace suya con toda la facilidad del mundo.

Volviendo al album, Lo mejor son los medleys. El medley del ayer nos trae recuerdos inolvidables de la Yolanda "niña estrella", a traver de la adolescecia, hasta convertirse en mujer.

El medley Vivencias no trae 4 de las mas famosas canciones de ese legendario album. Fue el album que debio lanzarla al exito mundial. Que paso Topy?

El ultimo medley Los Amores, es la razon primordial para comprar este disco. Realmente no es un medley, pues canta en su totalidad 3 de sus mayores exitos; El poder del amor, El amor, y Cuando termina un amor. Si nunca ha tenido la oportunidad de oir a Yolandita cantar Cuando termina un amor en vivo, compre este CD inmediatamente y vaya al track 10. Pero preparese bien, sientese y dejese llevar por toda la emocion y el sentimiento de quien en mi opinion es una de las mejores interpretes de musica pop no solo de Puerto Rico, sino del mundo.

Para finalizar el CD, tenemos como "ñapa" Susususubir, en donde la cantante y el publico se funden en el frenesi de la musica y la interpretacion a tal nivel que se puede sentir a traver de las bocinas. Lastima que no menciono que se iba para Katanga (no se que esta provincia al norte de Siberia tiene que ver con la cancion, pero se oye comiquisimo!). Sera que despues de llegar alla no se puede subir mas, pues solo queda el Polo Norte?

Sobre la produccion debo decir que el disco esta mezclado atrozmente. No es como el hoy famoso "collectors item" de Cara de Angel con las 2 versiones de la misma cancion (Cara de Angel). Aqui hay errores imperdonables. Fuera de eso las fotografias estan exquisitas (Rafi Claudio), el diseño muy apropiado y la presentacion muy buena.

Somos tan dichosos de tener en una islita tan pequeña talentos como Lucecita, Sophy, Ednita, y Yolandita, que me siento superorgulloso de ser Puertorriqueño.

I was waiting for a live CD from Yolandita for a long period of time. Thanks for this beautiful gift! My favorite songs in this CD are: Mala Sangre (it sounds gorgeous); Los Celos; Como lluvia de los cielos; Sobrevivire and Susususubir. The medleys are great, specially "Medley del Ayer" amd "medley del Amor", in which she does an excelent job in Cuando Termina Un Amor (The best of her voice in this CD is on this song). This a a CD that ebvery fan should have. i'm pleased with the new work of this DIVA.

For a live album is a disapointment!.......2000-05-07

I love Yolandita's music. I been collecting her cd's for a long time. I was waiting for a live album since "Cara de angel".When I heard the cd, the first thing I didnt like was the fact that a lot of songs that made her a "Diva" are not in this cd. The sound is not "all that", and there's a big error in the middle of the song "como puedes" there's people clapping out of nowhere! The other thing I wanted to mention is this cd should be called "medley live" or something; too many medleys in just one cd.I think she should have make a two cd set live album. Don't get me wrong I still love Yolandita the highlights of this cd are: "Mala Sangre" and "Susususubir". If you are a die hard fan you sould get it, if not just buy her full albums.

EN VIVO! Viva Yolandita!.......2000-04-20

Creo debo haber sido uno de los primeros en comprar este CD pues lo compre al segundo dia de salir a la venta. Vivo en EU y no pude asistir al concierto de Yolandita en Bellas Artes en PR, pero este ha sido como un regalo. La voz de Yolandita bella como siempre. Mala Sangre se escucha inclusive mucho mejor que en el CD "Siento", "Me dijeron" es un regalo a los oyentes pues es una cancion nunca antes grabada por Yolandita, bravo! . El medley del ayer, increible, pareciera escuchar a Yolandita an~os atras, sin notar diferencia en su voz causada por el paso del tiempo. Como Puedes, Celos y Como la lluvia de los cielos son tres canciones que necesitan de una verdadera cantante que las pueda interpretar, y solo Yolandita podria hacerlo. Que voz, pasion y sentimiento. El medley vivencias es un recuento de cuatro de sus mas grandes exitos incluidos en el disco "Vivencias", estas no podian faltar en un disco en vivo de Yolandita. Luego escuchamos Sobrevivire que canta Yolandita a duo con su hija Paola. Sus voces se acoplan magnificamente, parecen dos angeles cantando, Paola tiene una voz con mucho potencial, me parece que si sigue el camino de su famosa madre y su ya famosa hermana, tiene el exito asegurado, pues voz tiene. Me sorprendio la luna nos cae como agua refrescante luego de tanta pasion. El medley de los amores, es un medley de tres canciones, cantadas casi por completp por Yolandita. El Amor y Cuando termina un amor los interpreta como siempre nos tiene acostumbrados. Es increible la fuerza interpretativa de Yolandita! Finalizamos con Susususubir, donde nos pone a cantar y a bailar, y escuchamos a un publico satisfecho y aplaudiendo a nuestra estrella. Bravo Yolandita! Hacia falta un disco asi (en vivo) en tu trayectoria artistica. Este disco cumple el cometido. Definitivamente una vez mas nos regalas un disco que de excelencia como nos tienes acostumbrado. Bravo! y mil aplausos! . Puerto Rico esta orgulloso de ti.

Lo mejor de lo mas reciente de la Diva Yolandita.......2000-03-30

Otra vez lo hicistes Yolandita! Definitivamenet solo alguien como tu puede grabar un disco y tener igual o mas exito que cualquier disco anterior. No nos defraudastes! La calidad interpretativa de tu voz es excelente. Tu voz y sentimiento se dejan "sentir" en este disco. La cancion "Dime" y "Arriesgare la Piel" son fabulosas, de esas que seguiremos oyendo por siempre sin cansarnos (igual que "Debil", "Quitame ese hombre del corazon" "A pesar del Tiempo" "Tu,tu,tu" entre otras). Mala Sangre es ese tipo de cancion que necesitamos escuchar para que nos de valor a seguir adelante sin temor a nadie. Con "Ya no hay amor" me siento que me transporto a otro mundo, los cambios en el tono de la voz de Yolandita son magico, tal y como lo hace de manera inimitable en "Como lluvia de los cielos". En esta ultima cancion, al igual que "Dime" "Los Celos" y "Arriesgare la Piel" Yolandita nos trae mas de sus acostumbradas canciones cortavenas que tanto nos gusta a sus fanaticos, no solo por el contenido sino por la manera unica de Yolandita de interpretarlas. Mejor no podria hacerlo! . En "Prohibido" y "A veces el amor se desintegra" nos hace vibrar con la misma intensidad con que siempre nos hizo vibrar en sus discos anteriores. Solo estoy en espera que salga tu disco en vivo en abril del 2000. Sera una verdadera joya tener tu voz en vivo (no desde un estudio). Gracias por este nuevo CD que nos permite gozar de esquisita e inigualable voz en nuevas melodias. Hay otras cantantes buenas en Puerto Rico y Latinoamerica, pero como Yolandita definitivamente no hay dos.

Lot of people knows Yolondita in the latin communities of the United States, and of course in Puerto Rico she is a "diva"; she is also well known in Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ecuador and others. But I think she deserves more. She is much better that lots of female artists from Mexico. Notwithstanding, the people that love her beautiful love will always be with her. Lot of success for Yolandita. Best wishes from New York.

This beautiful Cd is Yolandita's best work since "Fiebre de Luna" back in 1994 & my personal favorite after her masterpiece "Vivencias" (1988). Best songs are "Dime", "Mala Sangre", "Como lluvia de los cielos", & "Ayer te vi". Our Puerto Rican Diva is back with a vengeance! (ps..she looks lovelier than ever too!)

You need to buy this one. It is Yolandita at her best. If Torch songs are your cup of tea (and they abound in this production) you need to get this CD right now!

Regresa Yolandita (por fin!) al mundo de la balada. Mundo que abandono por un tiempo para demostrarnos en el interim que puede interpretar cualquier cosa y salir airosa. Desde musica tropical, música autóctona puertorriqueña, música navideña, y hasta baladas como "Tu", que solo Yolanda (o alguien no mayor de 14 años) podría cantar con similar convicción y realismo. Y es que Yolandita, con su voz y su fuerza interpretativa puede impartirle magia hasta a "Happy Birthday".

Recordemos que no estamos hablando de una creación Pop pre-fabricada. Estamos hablando de Yolandita, quien ganaba discos de oro y platino cuando otros artistas no sabian ni "con que se comian" los discos de oro y platino. Y esto vendiendo discos solo en Puerto Rico y un par de mercados latinos en Estados Unidos. Este CD debe lanzarla como estrella en el mundo de la balada Pop internacional, sitial que la ha eludido y que tiene bien merecido.

Bueno, hablemos de éste CD: Tiene de todo, desde canciones de amores correspondidos, hasta amores no correspondidos, y toda gama de canciones corta-venas en el medio. "Los Celos" habla de las consecuencias de jugar al juego de los celos en la relación. "Dime" esta sonando muchísimo en la radio. La historia de un amor que se fue y ahora regresa, y ella le pide que verbalize su compromiso de quedarse para siempre esta vez. Yolanda demuestra una vulnerabilidad exquisita en esta pieza. "Vibraciones positivas" es una canción refrescante, "chevere" y con mucho "soul"; muy adeucada después de dos canciones tan intensas. En "A veces el amor se desintegra" Yolandita describe en detalle una relación ya deteriorada, resignandose estóicamente al adios final. La verdadera joya de ésta producción es "Ya no hay amor". De proporciones casi épicas, ésta canción parece más bien una Aria operática. Oyéndola, nos podemos imaginar a Yolanda como Madame Butterfly, La Traviatta o cualquier otra heroina trágica. Pero no; es solo Yolanda botándose otra vez y de paso destruyendonos.

La siguiente es "Mala sangre", dirigida a esos pocos detractores que a través de los años han quedado en el olvido, en el ridículo, o en ambos! Noten como repite "...Que no podrán conmigo..." tres veces, a manera de "chant" anti-malas-vibraciones. Esta cancion merece un club remix ya! En "Como lluvia de los cielos" nos lleva en una montaña rusa emocional que nos deja exhaustos, pero complacidos. Otra pausa refrescante para oir "No es natural". "Arriesgaré la piel" es como una canción en busca de una novela. Sería perfecta como tema de una telenovela. Es el tipo de canción que podemos oir diariamente por tres meses sin cansarnos. "Ayer te vi" es melódica y hermosa. Muy romántica. Con matices semi-autobiográficos, nos llega "Prohibido", donde parece estar desnudando el alma ante un psicólogo, un cura, o una buena amiga. Para terminar nos brinda "Libre". Paradójicamente, ella esta libre mientras nos ha hecho cautivos a través de esta superproducción. Nos ha hecho reir, llorar, nos ha hecho trizas y luego recoge lo poco que queda de nosotros y dice "Ay, Bendito...".
