The first 3 books of Gesualdo's madrigals don't have the startling chromaticism and the violent rhythmic contrasts of the 5th and 6th books, but they're rich pieces nonetheless and here and there are hints of the over the top imagination of the later works. These performances are characterized by accurate intonation and lovely timbre. This is one of my favorite recordings of Italian madrigals.

Ley Alejandro: A Singer That Is Very Good.......2004-09-28

First off I would like to say that before this cd from Mr. Alejandro I did not know him. I have had this cd I think like for 2 or more years. Maybe 3. I don't know I lost track. Any how back to the cd. I still love this cd but I don't play it as much as I used to when I first bought it. The music is very different on this cd from his first 2 because I listend to a little bit of each song on his frist 2 cds and I found out they were salsa. This cd is balda/rock music even though it says rock and roll on the back he has slow songs also. Its on all gete up and go music. Now I am also going to get his new cd which I did not about untill Sep 28 because I had not checked his music in a long while and I have heard nothing on radio were I live. And I am going to get his first 2 cds because they are great. Even thogh I allready have 2 songs by different singers. But thats okay because they are in different versions. But anyhow if you want to bye a cd from Ley Alejandro I would suggest his lastest cd if you can find it were you live and if not order it from Amazon.com. Even though I have not heard it my self. I give this the cd I can give it and I give it five more which is ten all together. Thank You.

Si compran este Cd les aseguro que no se arrepentiran. Cuando se lo pongo a gente que no lo conocen, enseguida lo confuden con Luis Miguel. Ley demuestra que tiene tremenda voz aparte que los arreglos musicales estan buenisimos. Todas las canciones estan buenas y bastantes romanticas(Ideales para una cita o para dedicarla a la pareja).
