"Bachata a su tiempo" is Alex Bueno's bachata debut and what a powerful display of talent it is by one of the most versatile tropical music artists of today. This album has eleven well sung rhythmical bachatas that can captivate any listener who is fond of this genre of music that is spreading rapidly outside of the DR and gaining fans all over the world. Alex, a very sentimental singer gave these bachatas an element that sets this bachata apart from the styles sung by other artists. Although soft and delicate in nature this bachata is extremely danceable with a very dominate sound of the guitar. There are many hits in this album and surely enough when you listen to it you will have your own favourites but I will gladly share my mine with you. They are: "Ese hombre soy yo", "Si vinieras hoy", "Gotas de pena", "Un poco de ti" and " Lo que siento por ti". I reiterate this a tremendous album that will gain the recognition of many loyal and new fans of bachata music.

The very best of Alex Bueno thus far and some of the very best bachatas recorded to date by any artist. Although listed songs are my favorites, all eleven songs are excellent. I most highly recommend this CD/Album to anyone who enjoys good music. Sal

This album is great. I love this album because Alex really does an excellent job here expressing his feelings. You can almost feel his pain and desire when he sings. All the tracks in this album have a lot of feeling and the music is great. The guitar sounds wonderful and Alex's voice is so smooth with his high pitch that the songs reaaly get to you. The rythm is good to dance to and also to sit and listen to. My favorite songs are "Busca un confidente" and "Un Poco De Ti". I picked these two as my favorites because they really hit me from the first time I heard them. The music and the lyrics are just wonderful. All the other tracks are great also. This album is a must have. If you're really a bachatero you cannot miss this one. If you haven't gotten on the bachata bandwagon, this album is perfect to get you hooked. It won't disappoint you.

Like Luis Vargas, Israel Palma, Joe Veras, Raulin Rodgriguez, Anthony Santos and Frank Reyes, Alex Bueno is a bachatero (bachata singer) with a very expressive voice. In songs like "Perdoname" ("Forgive Me") and "Ese Hombre Soy Yo" ("I Am That Man") Alex Bueno can really reach your heart and make you feel the essence of bachata music.
