Good Merengue Album.......2001-11-29

Their first album under the EMI label, Limite 21 moves their merengue up a notch with this album. After seven albums and nine years, this trio has been making a steady climb for better merengue. Their next album is even better. There's a (...) that critized the album and compared this merengue from Pena Suazo and Oro Solido; buddy wash your ears and review this album over! Pena Suazo is small time compared to any merengue group from Puerto Rico. The only good thing I can say about Oro Solido is that some of thier songs are comical. And they really sound the same way. That annoying synth sax noise the same unibeat and everything. One difference between merengue from PR and DR is that the merengue from PR changes for the better and has a better bomba sound. The merengue from DR all sound the same, they downstandardize their own music by mixing it with rap, yuk. There are only a few proven worthy merengue artists from DR and all are older artists; Milly Quezada, Eddy Herrera, Juan Luis Guerra, Tono Rosario, Los Hermanos Rosario, and very few others. Some of that stuff also sounds more like Bachata. That review should get one star.

En mi opinion personal el CD, no vale la pena.
Lo compre porque me gustaba "estas enamorada" pero rrapidamente me di cuenta que el ritmo de las canciones es muy repetitibo.
Esto es un pedido para los "Merengueros Boriquas"
Paren de masacrar el verdadero merengue, todos sus merengues tienen el mismo ritmo, el merengue no solo consiste en el ritmo "bomba" traten de imitar a merengueros con mambo como:
Pena Suaso(La banda Gorda), Oro Solido y otros mas...

Una vez mas queda demostrado el talento de Limite 21. Su produccion "Septima Armonia" esta llena de arreglos musicales super bailables y otras llenas de mucho romanticismo. Los mejores temas del disco lo son "Armonia", "Atrevete Y Mirame" y "Estas Enamorada". Este es su primer trabajo para la disquera EMI Latin luego de su salida de RMM Records. Este disco esta excelente y se lo recomiendo a todos los merengueros de corazon. Tambien recomiedo "Pasional" de Jessica Cristina, "Maria Alejandra" de Maria Alejandra", "The Dynasty" de Grupo Mania y "En Vivo" de Manny Manuel.
