Excellent, quality latin music with a NY flavor. Some of the tracks can't be labeled as contemporary or classic
(possibly standard). The CD reaches a peak with track # 14, Preciosa, which begins melodically with great lyrical content then, after about 3 minutes, explodes with emotion & power.

This Album like many of Marc Anthony's creations are flawless. There a very few albums that i like every song and this is definatley one of those rare ones. I think this album has bought together a great selection of Marc Anthony's most treasured works of art. His Voice is stunning and his words really capture you and have so much meaning, meanwhile some of his songs are really upbeat and a great to dance 2. I would recommened this album as well as purachasing every cd because there are songs there that everyone can enjoy and for all ages as well.

i am impressed witht the collection of songs of Marc Antony however the songs do not include the ad lib versions as included on his other cds. They seem to cut the song off just when the real dancing part comes into play. I was very disappointed with that. The sound quality was awesome. I would recommend this CD but with a caveate that one would find that the fading of the tracks cuts off some of the best of each song.

For all you Marc Anthony fans, this cd is a total must have for your collection. All his hits (not including those from his English cd) are in this 15 track cd. And if you've just become a fan, this a great way to get introduced to Marc's wonderful music and beautiful voice.

Picked up this CD out of curiousity, not having heard anything by the artist other than that dorky song they play on lite rock stations. Don't let that fool you--this guy is a huge talent.

PASSIONATE, MOVING!.......2001-10-23

I can't remember the last time I have been so overwhelmed by an artist's performance! Marc Anthony has to be THE most passionate singer this music lover has had the privilege of hearing. While I am not a fan of Jennifer Lopez, 'No Me Ames' went down very smoothly. My very favourite probably has to be 'Hasta Ayer' maybe because it has that slow build to a climax that is like the very best of lovemaking. What can I say, I'm a serious Marc Anthony fan, people! Don't take my word for it that this CD is excellent. Go listen to it first, if you have to, but I know you'll end up buying it.
