"Something That is Deep Inside" has a freshness in lyrics/vocals that is long overdue. The CD brings out a plethora of emotions/feelings that have been locked deep within for far too long. "Bella Donna" & "I Must Be Gone Today" are hauntingly erotic and beautiful. "Je T'aime I Love You" takes you on an untaunted emotional high. "Soft Lights Sweet Music Satin Sheets" urges you to feel the true love within. "I Remember Christmas" & "It Must Be Christmas" show the true meaning/closeness of Christmas...NO commercialism here. I truely recommend George's CD to all.

Living in the 5 collage area of New England there is no shortage of indy music labels. And they all seem to sound the same. Which is why it is a pleasure to hear something different. "Something That Is Deep Inside" is a real enjoyment from start to finish. There is something for just about all musical taste here. The music is outstanding, but, George's voice is what keeps me putting this cd back on time after time! Once in a great while you hear a singer with such a natural voice,that it all sounds so effortless and beautiful. That's what you have here. My favorite, " I Should've Stayed In Bed Today", what I think would get the most radio play "Professor Of The Blues". Oh Hell, the whole thing is great, give it a listen and you'll know what I mean!

Every time I listen to this CD, I find something new I like. Straight and honest lyrics, a variety of musical styles, catchy melodies and great instrumental work all put this album head-and-shoulders above other independent releases. George Finizio has a wonderfully clear voice and a genuine song-writing gift. In my mind's eye (to mix a metaphor), I can hear Clapton someday doing a cover of Professor of the Blues!

This CD definitely has music that puts a smile on your face! It is an interesting combination of musical styles that is very enjoyable. From the title track 'Something that is deep inside', a very singable tune, to 'It's Over Now', a multilayered instrumental, this a pleasing listen.
