This is one of those rare CD-s which is impressive from the first listen, and keeps getting better from that moment on. After three listens, I LOVE it! G. Lee has a beautiful satin voice which has the power to melt Kryptonite. Her melodic songwriting prowess and instrumental skills combine with some great supporting musicians to render high-level rock/pop-rock.
Roots based rock with many influences..from Skynyrd to Dave Matthews to the Indigo Girls... it's all here and it's all quality. A fabulous offering. Gorgeous vocals!

"Crashing Into Your Room" is an incredible debut record from this band. I found it just browsing on Amazon....I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of them before - they certainly deserve wider recognition! It is unusual for me to say this about any CD, but I like every song on this one - especially "Out of My Head" (builds from the beginning into an ending that totally rocks out - kind of haunting,too, in a way - definitely a tune that sticks in your head), "Lucid" (Steely Dan-ish - great horn section in the middle), and "Everything is Changing" (kind of funky - great hook - cool effects on the vocals). G. Lee has a voice that reminds me of a combination of Lisa Loeb/Sheryl Crow/Bonnie Raitt/. The vocals overall are strong and thick (but not too thick), as are the guitars, and the rhythm section is totally solid. These pop/rock songs are definitely ones that should be playing on the radio. I can't wait for the next CD to come out!

This is a great first album, with songs that stick in your head. From the soaring "Elevated" through the evocative "Out of My Head", from the folksy "At Home" through the jazzy "Lucid", this album is all solid rock. The album is raised from good to excellent by Gloria's wonderful voice. It has become one of my favorite CDs... Highly recommended!
