About the Artist
Her kid-lovin' personality shines through in everything she does. . .kids can't wait to meet her, and parents have been known to refer to her as "a Mick Jagger for kids" because their tykes are so excited at her concerts. She's Judy Pancoast, and she's the "Real Thing" in kids' performers. Judy is that singular children's artist who can walk into a room full of children who don't know her, and immediately connect with them in an honest and genuine way. She's a mother of two, a talented musician with a Bachelors Degree in Music, and a certified elementary school teacher with a Masters degree in Reading. And though children don't know all that, she's also got the qualities they really care about, that certain "Judy-ness" that can't be put into words.

Judy's special knowledge of children, literacy, and learning have helped her to craft a presentation that is both fun for children and well appreciated by parents and educators alike. She spends much of the academic year touring schools with her KidPop! family concert program and two workshop offerings; Literacy Through Music and Conflict Resolution for Children. She is also increasingly popular on the lecture circuit for schools, parent groups and educational conferences. Judy is also in demand as a children's entertainer at music festivals, fairs, libraries, city-wide celebrations and corporate outings across the United States.

I wasn't expecting to have 4 discs for this price, and the music is a quality selection of film music, giving a good scope of the genre, and a very listenable transfer.

This collection is bound to capture your heart and evoke a tin ear on successive tracks. I found much to like and some duds - easy to skip over.

For the price, this CD is a great bargain. The musical selections, as you might expect, are mixed in quality ranging from extraordinary to so so, the balance being worthwhile and interesting. Sonically the CD is excellent.

I have been listening to great scores for many years and this collection is truly inspirational in so far as the choice of different scores takes you on a journey of listening pleasure matched by only a few collections.The price is incredibly reasonable for hours of listening pleasure. Don't pass this one up

Judy Pancoast is amazing-her voice is fabulous, a kid-friendly sound with pop mixed in. Everyone should buy this cd for their children, along with all of her other cds (KidPop, Candy, and Through the Eyes of a Kid) because she is the true definition of talent and all-around-wonderfullness. For her sake and yours, you must buy this cd.

Judy created one of the best Christmas CDs we have. My father owns literally over 100 CDs. Each Christmas that we have had this CD, it ends up on our home videos. Each year we tape Christmas day and decorating our tree. 3 of these songs are always on it. It is the perfect CD for everyone, except for the story on the CD which is more for younger children. I would just like everyone to know that Judy has a great voice, personality, and she is just an all-out great person. She doesn't even need people to write reviews. I just wanted to tell the world.
