So Many Faces represents a surprising improvement from the band's debut. An appealing layer of dust has settled on Left Hand Smoke's blues-rock sound and on lead singer Ben Mish's vocal chords, resulting in a more assured, rootsy sound, complete with organ, slide guidar, and slack rock sensibility reminiscent of early Rolling Stones. Even more promising is the song-writing, which is downright inspired at times; Left Hand Smoke has already traveled an important mile, but So Many Faces gives the impression that this band won't stay put for long.

So Many Faces,Left Hand Smoke,Mackadoshis,A fresh return to organic and rootsy, bluesy rock and roll, with a touch or R&B and soul, reminiscent of the 'Stones.

If the first album made you a glutton for groove, put a permanent hold on any plans for cutting back.
Left Hand Smoke has brought another prime cut to the table with `So Many Faces,' making it clear to anyone paying attention that a growing number of appetites for rock n' roll with unrelenting soul will remain satisfied. This second effort goes beyond what is normally considered first rate.
When you are in the fortunate position of understanding this slice of greatness, stay in line because the getting will be good for a long time. If you haven't heard Left Hand Smoke yet, consider yourself missing out and go get yourself some while they are still at an arms reach.

Left Hand Smoke really knows what music is about and I think they will continue making people feel good with their songs for a long time. They are one of my all time favorite bands. I saw them in concert and they kept the crowd going all night long, singing and dancing. Left Hand Smoke has it all. Good looks, great music, and all together great guys. They are totally the band to watch out for in the future. LHS will be huge!

These guys are the greatest! I can't tell you enough. I saw them at a concert in Seattle and they are absolutely incredible. I think they will make it huge for sure. I met a couple of these guys after their show and they were so nice. I have both of their cd's and they are totally awesome! I hope they continue to play music for a long long time. I think if you like Dave Matthews Band you will love Left Hand Smoke!

This album is amazing. It has the gritty, blues-rock that Left Hand Smoke had in their first album, but this is more refined. If you like great guitar and piano work, and love the blue-rock genre then this one should be on your buy list.
