i love this cd.it is great i like willa ford and oliver james.oliver's songs are so good i want him to make a cd of his own.i like almost all the songs.it has 11 songs that i listen to over and over !!!! you can't find a lot of cds like. i almost know the songs by heart i give it 2 thumbs up and if a had more i would give them too !!!!!!!

What a Girl wants is a soundtrack with some cheesy music and some poppy princess music, which inbalances it. The music in the movie well fits the scenes that they're in, but it's just very "cheesy" and "princess poppy". Some of the music is very upbeat and some of the music changes your attitude as you listen to that song, giving you a mood the song has. But overall, the soundtrack is pretty worth the listen to.

this soundtrack does NOT have all the songs in it from the movie. i was looking for two from the movie, and the soundtrack did not have them. like, a song by michelle branch that is in the movie is not in there. boo

overall a fun cd.......2005-12-27

This cd obviously has all of the songs from the movie on it, so some of the songs that work for the movie are a bit cheesy to listen to separately. However, none of the songs fit into the throw in or filler category. Each song is vastly different and the album as a whole is quite eclectic, which makes it fun to play. Some songs are the ballad type like the two by Oliver James (main character in the movie) "long time coming" and "Greatest Story ever told." The rest of the songs, for the most part, are fast pace or upbeat. London Calling is probably the most awkward song on the cd as it just doesn't work outside of the movie. Overall...this cd is from a tween movie meant for younger girls so the songs are more bubblegum and either you are a younger girl who appreciates that stuff or a bit older and able to loosen up and laugh off some of the cheesiness of the songs. Definitely one of the better movie soundtracks from a tween movie though.

Packs into 5 CD's a sampling of Broadway tunes from the 20's thru (almost) today, mostly from original cast recordings. Includes not just well-known hits, but also some lesser-known gems. Sound quality is first rate, booklet is informative too. Have given this as a gift to several friends with rave reviews.

This is THE definitive collection of Broadway hits. I have other collections, and none of them measure up. A great deal of care was obviously taken in compiling and presenting this box set. It covers a lot of ground, starting with some long-forgotten but still very enjoyable hits from the days of yore, and finishing with present-day favorites. To the best of my knowledge, the recordings are by those who made them famous. You won't be disappointed.

You need to hear her live and realize how wrong you are. This is (or was) a great CD. Sure, I didn't really care about her in the first place eg I didn't like her, didn't hate her. But the remixes always draw me back. They're very good.

i love christina, but this single isn't bad, and isn't that great but it's good. so i'm giving her 4 stars for this remixes single. the remixes are:

1.) Thunderpuss Fiesta Club Mix (Grade: 85B)

2.) Thunderpuss Dirty Club Mix (Haven't listened to this one yet)

3.) Eddie Arroyo Long Dance Mix (Haven't listened to this one yet)

4.) Eddie Arroyo Down Tempo Mix (100A!)

Other than that, this CD gets a 95. Which is an perfect A! :) I still like Christina, nah I love her. hehe! I like her better than Britney Spears, to tell you the truth! :-D Most people do! Anyways, buy this CD if you are a BIG fan of Christina, or just a fan of pop music. Bye bye!!

This is a terrific maxi single. The Dirty Club remix is best, but they all rock! Christina's voice brings down the house. It is digitalized in some versions which a few fans will dislike, but I think they're all GREAT! It also showcases the many different versions of "What a Girl Wants" both the radio version and the album version. If this is your fave Christina song, you can't miss this CD!

...that's the name of the bonustrack and that applies
(the right word?) for the whole single. "What a girl wants is a lot more pop then her previous hit "Genie in a bottle" It's not exactly the same version which is on her self-titled album.
The remix is also good and the Bonustrack is wonderful. It sounds like a cross between "I turn to you" and "Blessed". A real nice ballad. Where did Christina get this amazing voice from?????? She's going to sound like Whitney Houston.

Every second of this album is worth litening to, "What A Girl Wants" is a tight dancing song packed with girl power, but my fave part is "Too Beautiful for words." The whole song is just so moving. It in, Christina tells her lover that he makes her feel amazing when they're together, too beautiful for words. It captures that feeling when you first fall in love with somebody and feel like you could fly off a rooftop. Her BEST love song!

I'm not into the smooth mix, and it was possibly the worst mix from her before the Stripped remixes came out, but it's still okay. The "What A Girl Wants" single version is worth 5 stars, she's cute on the cover & the main reason to buy this is the mega-medley! The medley is great in that it sums up the album for you, with different backup vocals from the album versions. Really neat!

What a Girl Wants Isn't X-Tina.......2003-05-15

It is sad to say I owned this woman's album. Christina bounced on the seen with, "Genie in a Bottle," and followed it up with this bouncy ditty. I do not want to diss Ms. X-Tina, but please next time don't release another pop song like this.

This Christina Aguilera What A Girl Wants cd Pt. 1 is great. First it has the remix radios play as the first song. This second song is a smooth mix with onyl a tambourine and guitar. The third song features a medley of great songs by Christina Aguilera. I hope you enjoy this cd.

This is my favorite song from Christina. The album version isn't bad, but compared to this version (the video version) it sounds boring. Christina had the problem of putting okay songs on the album and releasing better versions as singles. Ah well.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS: "WHAT A GIRL WANTS" IS THE GREATEST POP SONG EVER! (EXAGGERATING, OF COURSE) BUT THE SONG IS REALLY GOOD. TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, I PREFER IT A BIT MORE THAN GENIE IN A BOTTLE. WHAT A GIRL WANTS CAN GET OVERPLAYED AND PEOPLE WILL STILL LOVE IT, WHILE WITH GENIE... IT GETS A BIT TIRING TO LISTEN TO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. PLUS, I HAVE TO ADMIT, THE CD SINGLE IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE CD! CAUSE GUESS WHAT? THAT'S ABOUT THE ONLY REALLY, REALLY GOOD SONG IN THE WHOLE ALBUM! =)

Christina Aguilara's album is really good. I got it for Christmas,and haven'y listened to anything since. My favorite song on it is track three,and the one I hate the most is Come On Over. It's a dippy song.I would definatly reccomend this cd

This Cd is basically a cover of Christina Aguilera's Songs. The Track Listing Is: 1. What a girl Wants (Original Version Not The Radio Edit). 2. I Turn To You 3. Genie in a Bottle 4. I Turn To You ('X'tended 4 play club mix).

In an attempt to do a cover of Christina Aguilera's songs, China Angel has certainly done an oddball job. Her voice is too whiney. I dont think that anyone can do a cover of Christina's Songs and actually do better than her, there is no better than the original! This CD is not completely bad, I think it's okay but is not as good as Christina herself.
