About the Artist
Katie Giguere is an artist with something to say. At the age of 18, she has tapped into a profound self-awareness that many of us could learn a lesson from. She believes that God created us; each and every one of us. She believes we are unique, individual, and most of all, loved and adored by our Creator. We come in different colors, shapes, sizes, and textures. But the thing we have in common is this: He loves us all, equally, without bias or favoritism. We all make up His entire masterpiece.

Katie is extremely gifted as a songwriter and vocalist, but more than that, she's a gifted communicator. She wants to help people feel, hear truth, be encouraged, find relevance, be connected, and experience something genuine. She wants to bring people hope.

Katie's first big break came at the age of 15 when she met Bonita Mitchell, founder of Thread of Hope, a traveling school concert program. Bonita encouraged a very shy young Katie to believe in herself and explore her musical talents. Bonita brought Katie to Los Angeles to cut her first demo, and immediately took her to meet music legend Stevie Wonder to get his input on the song. That was a pivotal moment in Katie's life. Mr. Wonder's response was, "With a voice like that, there's no need for you to be shy". His stamp of approval made her realize that she did have a God given talent, and it was not to be squandered. She later had an opportunity to work with CeCe Winans, Tia and Tamara Mowry, and others.

"I believe in living a life that has Christ as its guiding foundation, a life that places value on people. I believe you can do anything if you are willing to pray hard, work diligently and treat people with respect. It's OK to want more, believe in yourself, and to reach for the stars. God is in it all if you invite Him. It's all divine. That's the message I hope to reach people with: Have hope, dare to dream, trust in God and don't let anyone's opinion sway you from your path. Nothing is impossible with Christ."
