If the rating stars had more than 5, I'd give it more.I just got the CD yesterday, and I have hardly stopped listening to it. I love improv, and bought this CD because Jeff Davis (Whose Line Is It Anyway; Happy Family; Drew Carey's Green Screen Show)is on it.He is hilarious!If anyone who is reading it is considering buying it, you should get it. You seriously won't regret it!!!

I bought this cd because I am a fan of Improv but all I can say is Wow. The songs made up from audience suggestions are great but even more astounding are the harmonies put forth. This cd is just amazing - an absolute great sound coupled with some really hysterical made up on the spot lyrics. How can you go wrong?

I've always loved improve (hence listening to this CD from the first place -- Whose Line's star Jeff Davis was one of the members of the Impromptones) but this CD made me love it even more, if it's even possible. It's absolutely hard to believe all songs were improvised, it's amazing. Lyrics might be funny but can be nice and great any time. The melodies are lovely, the lyrics are terrific. I wish they'd released another album!

Hilarious, totally unique comedy!!!.......1999-04-01

I was amazed at this collection of completely improvised songs by this musical comedy quartet. With as little as a list of unrelated words given to them by the audience, this group improvises humorous songs complete with 3 and 4-part harmony, piano and even a "lip trumpet" and what they come up with can only be called amazing. The only thing I can imagine being better would be to see them live and in action. Can't recommend it any higher.
