I travel to Hawaii frequently and love Hawaiian Reggae or "Jawaiian" music...I came across Legalize Happiness when I searched Amazon and bought it solely on the recommendation of the other raters (no sample tracks to listen to). I love this CD, and it hasn't been out of my car since I got it! I defy you to not be happy listening to this music. The ballads aren't really to my taste either, but the upbeat songs are irresistable! I'm headed to Kauai in less than a month, and this is the CD that will be popped in the jeep when I head to the beach! You NEED this CD!!!

Phantastic Holiday Remembrance.......2003-07-11

Almost three years ago (november 2000) my friend and I traveled to Hawai'i. By the way we had a great time that 1 days.
While we were driving around and visiting interesting places we listened to the radio. And one time we heard that Haleakala-song. From the first beat we both were enthusiastic about it.
After searching the internet for several months I found the CD and since a half a year I own one.
I was so happy when it was delivered and the first I did was to play it.
From the beginning it sounds great. The songs make appetite for holiday. If the wheather is lousy, there is nothing else further needet than this music. Espacially the fifth track ;-) Whenever I'm down or in bad mood I insert this CD and every sorrow is blown away. Good-mood-musi at it's best.
I love it. And I have to say, I'm not really a reggea- / rap- or hip-hop-fan...
So, whereever you see this CD, buy it!!!

Makes me happy..........2002-08-01

First heard this band at the 2001 Reggae on the River, a yearly Reggae festival on the Eel river in Mendicino County, Ca. The crowd was very receptive to the feel good message of the band, and I was inspired to pick up the cd.

All I can say is that I get happy every time I put it on. The grooves are infectous. Best described as surf reggae with a hint of R&B and a sense of humour, this cd can't be beat at a summer party. My only complaint is that some of the r&b ballads aren't to my taste, but you can't please everyone all of the time. Pick it up and party down.

Visions of Maui.......2001-04-29

A reggae flavored album that brings back the island of Maui everytime I listen to it. A definite pro marijuana theme prevails. Upbeat music with a positive message otherwise. I listen to this CD almost everytime I'm in the car.
