About the Artist
Hollis Resnik most recently appeared as Charlotte opposite Patti LuPone in The Ravinia Festival's concert staging of Sondheim's "A Little Night Music." She also performed in last years critically acclaimed "Sweeney Todd" as the beggar women with Ms. LuPone. Ms. Resnik has appeared on Broadway in "Wings" and toured the nations for two years as Fantine in "Les Miserables." She has appeared in every major Chicago theatre and has been seen across the nation in award winning regional theatres. Ms. Resnik is an eight time Joseph Jefferson award(Chicago's equivalent to the Tony)winner, three time After Dark award recipient and a Sarah Siddons award honoree. Ms. Resnik versatility includes featured performance with The Chicago Symphony and appearances in Chicago's intimate cabarets.

For many years, throngs of Chicagoans have been waiting for Hollis to record a CD of her own. It's finally here - and truly worth the wait. There is no other with the soulful musicianship which Ms. Resnik embodies. She truly SOARS!! This terrific CD has an amazing production level, a wonderfully eclectic song selection, fabulous musicians and arrangements, and, of course, Hollis...who's voice will truly ROCK you. Treasure this recording...for that is what it is.
