About the Artist
Mr.Al combines his Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with his background as a "Rock & Roll" musician to create educational songs for young children. He has been touring the country presenting teacher workshops and doing concerts for children for the past 13 years. Prior to going on the road, he was a classroom teacher for 10 years using music and movement to educate preschool and elementary children.

Like his previous albums, all of these songs will get the kids up and moving while they are practicing skills or learning concepts. some songs deal with emotional issues like "I Don't Like It" which gives children the words they need to handle difficult situations. or "Mind Your Manners" which, as the title states, reminds them when to use their manners. For the first time, mr. al has a couple songs with a Latin beat "Turn Around and Dance" and "Try To Be Nice". These songs also include Spanish and English phrases so not only will they be learning about being kind, they will also pick up a few new language skills. Three songs are game oriented. All the songs will have kids wanting to dance to the beat. Mr. Al has included activities to do with each song to help extend the lessons. All in all this is a great and enjoyable way to "groove" into learning!
