This is the smoothest BOCA yet. The studio production on some of these tracks is phenomenally professional quality, and the singing's good enough to bring chills. You have to hear what Iowa State University's Shaggy Boys did with "Owner of a Lonely Heart" to believe it, and Michigan Amazin' Blue's "Millennium" will get you dancing. Perennial favorites UPenn Off the Beat (on seven BOCAs so far) rule with "Wild Horses," and the first international participant, York University's Wibijazz'n (from Toronto) bring Steely Dan to life with "Peg." Southern California is aptly represented by USC's Sirens (Ray of Light") and the SoCal VoCals "Total Eclipse of the Heart.", and Utah State's That One bring the album to a remarkable close with a version of "Rainbow Connection" that will warm your toes. With 17 each-one-more-amazing-than-the-last tracks.
