Amazing collection of songs! not just for karaoke fans!.......2005-03-13

This 'karaoke' set is amazing!

The vocal guides (which can be isolated in the right channel of the first 8 tracks of each disk) are the original artist track. There's amazing clarity to these acapella tracks (sometimes with handclaps and such), and they are really neat! (motown fans will especially enjoy these - they are usually very rare!)

The backing tracks rock as well! Great for singing over, or just grooving too as background music.


I highly recommend this box set and the other 6 disks in this 12 (soon to be 16) disk set!

The Most Awesome CD's EVER!!!.......2004-09-17

Whoever came up with this idea is a genius. These songs have never sounded better, and now for the first time ever we have the tracks without lead vocals. An amazing idea and one-of-a-kind product. These are definitely NOT cheap imitations of the original songs, they ARE the originals. Some are more like instrumentals: "Baby Love" and "Stop! In The Name Of Love" by the Supremes unfortunately has the background vocals removed in addition to the lead vocal, unlike "I Hear A Symphony" and "Back In My Arms Again" in which we get to hear the awesome tracks with the other Supremes singing out. My only wish is that they will re-release "Baby Love" and "Stop!" with the background singers on the track. But still, one cannot dispute what an awesome idea Motown has. I hope they release more great Motown classics like "You Can't Hurry Love", "Come See About Me", "Where Did Our Love Go" and more! Please release more CD's SOON! If you are thinking about purchasing these CD's, DO IT! You will NOT be disappointed!
