If you enjoyed the early Beatle's music or even know what it sounds like , you are going to LUV this CD. Classic Christmas songs are set to the familiar Beatle's beat. It's a BLAST(from the past) and has been enjoyed by everyone that I've shared it with.

Not As Fun as the Other One.......2005-12-13

I'd recommend their other Xmas CD first-I skip many more on this one.

Although "Santa Claus is Comin to Town" ala "When I'm Sixty Four" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" ala "Got to Get You into My Life" are classic.

Correcting the correction about "Dear Santa": It is SO a Ringo tune, found on his "I Wanna Be Santa Claus" CD.

Fun Xmas Rock and Roll Novelty.......2004-11-22

This bargain-priced CD contains half the material from the Fab Four's previous holiday-themed collection. All the songs on the CD combine traditional holiday songs with Beatles references, as you would expect from a Beatles cover band.

The results are pretty good; I particularly enjoyed the Norwegian Wood stylings of "Silent Night" and the McCartneyesque "The Christmas Song." On other songs, the combination is a bit strained, and "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" is seriously damaged by the inclusion of synthesised horns rather than a real horn ensemble.

Still, the price is right, and if you're already inclined to purchase Xmas CDs you will definitely get a kick out of this one.
