5 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Surprised.......2007-01-01

I had remembered the smash one-hit wonder, "Underneath the Radar" and considered buying this disc for one song only (practically a sin) for a long time. I finally ordered it from Amazon and it never showed up! I got my money back and ended up buying it on eBay brand new for $13.49, including shipping. As I loathe wasting money, I was afraid I would not like this album and regret all the hoops I jumped through to get it. However three other songs were liked upon first listen! This is a big deal because I am picky. After wrapping Christmas presents for hours while listening to this and subsequently washing dishes, paying bills, etc., I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS ALBUM! I am extremely impressed with the complexity of the music and the quality of the recording - for having been recorded in London in 1988! There is some very forward-thinking on this album - and I am not a techno fan by any means. Most songs I hear today on the radio do not compare to the UNIQUENESS and creativity on this album. I am extremely glad I bought this and I would even play this for visiting guests... it's that good. Every time I listen, I hear something I didn't notice before, and I am impressed all over again.

5 out of 5 stars Underneath the radar by Underworld.......2005-10-12

It is simply amazing to hear the band from what they were to what they become. They have developed not just in song writing but in the amount of sound they can use to produce their product. On this album they are still looking for what is "Underworld", and it is a lot of fun following their search. Worth listening to "Everything, everything" afterwards to fully enjoy them.

5 out of 5 stars Actual Music!.......2005-07-12

Don't get me wrong - I like the techno Underworld stuff on Friday nights when I'm anticipating a party weekend. But the other 90% of the time when I am not in party mode, I prefer something more melodic, and this album fits the bill.

I disagree with comparisons to Yaz and Depeche Mode. This album has a little bit more mature funk to it. If I was to compare it to another band, I would say it sounds more like Ministry before they went hard industrial. And, similar to the early Tears for Fears albums, all of the songs are strong enough to make the entire album playable.

If you like 80s pop, this album is a must. But if you like the edgier techno of Underworld, you might be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Don't listen to the naysayers..........2005-04-29

This is a great CD. I've had it was released.
I still listen to it frequently to this day.
Quite frankly, while I like their newer stuff, it doesn't compare to this gem.

5 out of 5 stars A truly wonderful album.......2005-04-09

I don't understand all of the negative reviews from people who obviously have broken ears! Underneath the Radar is incredible. If you love Underworld unconditionally, then you'd pick this up and fall in love as I have. "Bright White Flame", "I Need a Doctor", and "Pray" are especially excellent.

Rusby's fifth solo recording, like previous efforts, boasts a well-crafted selection of original compositions and ancient ballads. While she has rightly been praised for the sheer beauty of her voice--which has never sounded better than on these dozen tracks--her greatest gift may be her ability to choose traditional songs and rework them in subtle and imaginative new ways. She's not afraid to add new words and compose her own melodies to melancholy odes to lost love like "Let Me Be" and "Cruel," which fairly trade emotional intensity for authenticity. Rusby is helped out musically by her husband, Scottish fiddler John McCusker, who produced the CD and helped ensure that every note played by the guitars, citterns, accordions, and flutes is perfectly placed to accent the vocals. Underneath the Stars is not a departure from Rusby's previous work; rather it is a refinement of what she has done before. --Michael John Simmons

5 out of 5 stars Immersed in Stars.......2007-01-12

Kate is a wonderful singer. Her "Underneath the Stars" is as nice as "Little Lights" and "10". These recent albums of hers are really a showcase of talent. Production is wonderful. Nothing over-done. The music is simple and is presented in its purity and simplicity with a seemingly light touch at the board. Thank heavens!

Kate has the supreme good luck (and good sense) to know her strengths and to play to them -- and we ALL benefit. And while the music is simple, when Kate writes new music for a traditional lyric, often the harmonies are not so simple but the overall musical effect is always beautifully matched to the lyrics and the listener is left with an impression not of a big fancy production but of a simply beautiful production -- with real, live human musicians playing real instruments, not studio pros on drum machines and other electronic crap.

Many of Kate's songs come from a long-ago tradition (even the new ones she writes) but what's important is that it is a tradition of beauty, a tradition of fine craft, and a tradition of respect.

If you don't know Kate Rusby's music, Underneath the Stars would a fine place to start but any of the other albums mentioned here are equally fine. She is a treasure and the lads she brings along to play and sometimes sing along with her make a musical team that simply CANNOT be beat.

4 out of 5 stars Kate Rusby- Underneath the Stars.......2006-11-04

Kate Rusby has the traditional Celtic sound. Her songs vary from simple to complex arrangements in an uplifting tonality. The moods are happy and upbeat, but when they are slow and longing, they do not depress or wax melancholic. Much like the theme of "Danny Boy" they express the intensity of feeling for lover and country. Much of contemporary songwriting consists of stream-of-consciousness set to a monotonous chunka-chunka rhythm pattern, usually in some peculiar open tuning. It is encouraging to hear a return to well crafted composition.
I purchased both this album and "The Girl Who Couldn't Fly" featuring her cover of "You Belong to Me" which in my estimation both edifies and challenges the original. If you enjoy a pure powerful voice, and crystal clear production values that honor tradition, these albums are worth it.

3 out of 5 stars Enjoyable but nothing stunning.......2006-09-14

This album is fine but there is no one song on it that really catches my attention. Whereas some of the songs on "10" I can listen to over and over again, there is nothing like this here. Maybe it will grow on me.

5 out of 5 stars Just discovered Kate.......2006-03-19

I'm a singer myself, and therefore very picky about voices. Kate's sultry voice easily transitions from lilting, playful sea shanties to haunting, soulful ballads. Her pitch and timing are flawless, and her sense of style is unique and winning. The title track is a standout (and her own composition). I would highly recommend her to anyone who enjoys a song well sung.

4 out of 5 stars Kate Rusby is a blessing to my ears.......2006-02-07

Kate Rusby is amazing. Her voice is new to me and I am so grateful to have found her. There is something so sweet and peaceful in her songs. Plus, I love the accent. If you would like to hear a refreshening beautiful sound, listen to Kate Rusby. This album isnt my favorite of hers, only because I have three right now and cant choose one over the other. They are all very good.

5 out of 5 stars Just Keeps Getting Better.......2007-05-30

The first album released on the bands indie label 3CG after their split from major label Island Def Jam, the Hanson boys have excelled once again. Two, almost three years on, this album is still recieving major play in my stereo and to be perfectly honest, is still better everytime I hear it. The melodies are refreshing, harmonies absoltely flawless. This album truely shows the growth of the band. Catchy tunes and soulful ballads, almost every song makes you want to sing along. This is a must have in your CD collection.

5 out of 5 stars People need to revisit who Hanson really is! .......2007-04-05

I love this cd and look forward to Hanson's follow up cd. Many people I know don't know Hanson beyond the MMMMbog phase, but that was nearly 10 years ago and these "men" have grown into fine musicians. Even better, they are geunine and the music comes from a pure place, not a bunch of angry twisted ramblings. They have soul and great energy and their songs are very catchy. I only hope people look beyond their pop bumble gum phase and give them the respect they wholeheartedly deserve.

Well first of all,
Ive been a hanson fan since 97.and i have to say, theyve only progressed in their greatness.they spent 3 years on this record, and it made it all the better.im so glad they didnt give up on it.because its their best record yet.the songs are wonderfully written.they have so much meaning in every line, it blows my mind!the wait was worth the while.theyre not those little hanson kids anymore.the greatest part about them is that theyre still young.and theyve been so successful all through their career.
if you think the albums amazing, wait til you hear them live.

Honestly, this album is fantastic. Great harmonies, great lyrics, infectuious songs... I'm probably going to get beat up for this.

5 out of 5 stars Best Hanson Album.......2005-11-11

This is the best Hanson album yet! I've been a fan of their's since the get go and it always amazes me that they stick with being Hanson yet grow just like their formerly pre-teen audience which is now in adulthood. Their music is clean so a good christian girl, like myself, can enjoy it guilt free, yet their music is mature enough to not be lumped together with cheesy teen acts. I highly recommend Crazy Beautiful and Lost Without Eachother. Both of those songs rock!!! Even if you never liked Mmmbop you will like this album!

5 out of 5 stars JOHN RICH - UNDERNEATH THE SAME MOON.......2007-06-26

Without question, my favorite cd ever. The songs are hypnotizing. Love them all but especially "Old Blue Mountain" which has a special place in my heart.

You cannot go wrong purchasing this cd.

5 out of 5 stars A Gem.......2007-01-11

Was exact, and actually more than what I expected. Great cd, must have for all John Rich fans!

5 out of 5 stars Totally Awesome.......2006-06-04

I have loved John since the old Lonestar days and always knew he had a talent that should be a solo showcase. I love John and Kenny together (Big & Rich) and I Pray for You was on one of their albums. I thought I might not like it as much with only John, but it is still as much of a beautiful song with him alone as it is with the two of them together. This will definately be on my must play list for the forseeable future.

5 out of 5 stars This man is totally amazing.......2006-04-27

Wow! This album has left me speachless and spinning. I knew John Rich was talented, but this album has only confirmed it for me again. John Rich's talent is absolutely amazing.

The versatility in his range, and the music choices were wonderful. From the religious undertones, the celtic bagpipes, each song is completely differnt and wonderous.

I would recommend this album to anyone who is really looking for something different and wonderous. His voice will sweep you off your feet, and leave you begging for more.

5 out of 5 stars You have gotta hear this!!!.......2006-04-14

I got this CD based on John Rich's reputation alone. I knew of many of the songs he had written over the years for various artists as well as his reputation in "Big & Rich". I was a little skeptical at first, but after I listened, I knew it was a purchase I do not regret.

Here are my quick thoughts on some of the tracks.

~ I pray for you...this song has more recently been recorded with Big & Rich and I like both versions.

~ Underneath the Same Moon...the title track and a beautiful song about love and separation and knowing that no matter where you are, if you look up at the moon, your soul mate is underneath that same moon.

~ Old Blue Mountain has guest vocals by singer Sara Evans, although at the time this was recorded, she was not the big name that she is now. A very beautiful song. Love the bagpipes!!

~ She Brings the Lightnin Down...WOW....Shannon Brown also recorded this, but she cannot even begin to sing it as well as John does. This is hands down one of my favorite songs on the CD. It's got a great funky beat that just makes you want to jump in and sing along.

~ When You Love Someone...originally recorded by Bryan Adams, and the only song on this CD that John did not have a hand in writing. A really great version of the song.

~ New Jerusalem...wow. An awesome song. Gospel. Acappella...what more can you want?

I highly recommend this CD to everyone, and have been playing it for my friends because I feel very strongly in it.

3 out of 5 stars Not bad second attempt for a young band.......2007-02-25

Not a bad second attempt for a young band at the time; very similar to their debut album. Basically a rough little rock album from the New Wave period. Some great stand out tracks like 'Stay Young' and 'Night of Rebellion', but many fillers as well.

This album and their debut album basically sound like warm up for their third album, 'Shabooh Shabah' which was to take the australian alternative music scene by storm in the early 80s.

This is a great buy for the serious Inxs fan, especially if you are not Australian as I doubt any of these tracks made it outside of Australian college radio at the time of release. Fans from their commercial period will be found wanting however, and I wouldn't suggest this is the Inxs album for you.

However it still gets several plays a year from me, and that was worth it in my book!

    4 out of 5 stars They're no Kylie Minogue, but I guess they're OK.......2004-12-12

    (that's a joke, people)

Its always great when a band lasts long enough that you can look back over their catalog and see the changes the band went through. So is the case with INXS, and what is clearly their first album. They are young, their sound not yet matured, but still have great pop and dance sensibilities, with classics like 'Stay Young' (a minor hit that helped get them noticed) and 'Night of Rebellion.' A great nostalgic trip to 1981.

    4 out of 5 stars Another step.......2001-06-06

Originally released in the U.S. and Canada in 1984 on Atco. I have the original Australian LP on Deluxe/RCA. It's the only one I have as an import. The album goes a bit too fast, and then they realise they need a change of direction before taking on the rest of the world.

4 out of 5 stars This is the album that put INXS on the map.......1999-09-29

Produced by Richard Clapton, this is the album that took INXS off the floor of Aussie beer barns, polished them off & prepared them for the world stage- which they promptly took over, for a very short time. Michael is not with us any longer, but these songs from the early eighties show him as the master- before he got the recognition.

4 out of 5 stars INXS' Indie Rock Album.......1999-09-21

Stripped down, simple, with much sparer arrangements than on their later Aussie-funk-pop records, this is INXS' closest attempt at American early '80s indie rock. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But when it does click (as on "Follow," and "Stay Young"), the results are as good as those sweaty kids in the garages of Athens, Georgia.

Underneath returns East Lansing, Michigan's Verve Pipe to their very origins, rediscovering the simple power pop of "I've Suffered a Head Injury" and "Pop Smear," ridding themselves of all the guitar bombast, arty flourishes, and dark shadows that producer Michael Beinhorn cast over their last album. This time out the band availed themselves of the talents of Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger--an underrated pop genius himself--to man the boards, helping them clean out the cobwebs and return the band to the engaging, almost New Romantics sound of their formative years. As a result the Verve Pipe has turned out a bevy of literate, tightly constructed gems that veer from the clever to the confessional, without ever being sappy. But stylish writing has always been this band's strong suit, as well as their full-bodied rhythm section that adds depth, texture, and an interesting complexity to harder-rocking songs. "Never Let You Down" is anthemic in its appeal, what with its stalwart message and dynamic chorus that are reminiscent of Foreigner at their most sincere, while "Medicate" is an earnest postgrunge solution to an age-old problem, moving into them into the territory that Bush used to occupy. --Jaan Uhelszki

This album is perfect from start to finish. Every song is incredibly with amazing lyrics and melodies. A MUST HAVE

4 out of 5 stars Solid from start to finish!.......2005-12-30

In April 1996, my freshman year of college, Verve Pipe performed live. They'd just released their major label debut, Villains, the previous month and the song Photograph was starting to get some serious airplay (at least in their native Michigan, where I was attending college). I purchased Villains and later their Indie label debut EP , I've Suffered A Head Injury and their 2nd release, Pop Smear. Other than a few tracks I really didn't get what all the fuss was about.

For the next few years I was content to ignore them. Their next eponymous release wasn't even a blip on my radar in 1999. Then in 2002, I stumbled upon one of the songs from Underneath and I had to hear more.

At a small out of the way music store in an out of the way strip mall in Elyria, Ohio I picked up a used copy of Underneath-- and the money was very well spent. Unlike their other albums which were lukewarm at best, Underneath was a prize. One of those rare CDs with not a bad track on it, a solid effort from start to finish.

Now when I put this CD on, I'm transported back to cool spring and summer nights of solitude as I was trying to find my way back to me after getting lost somewhere along the way a few months before. Along with Dream Theater's Awake album this CD was my emotional road map that led me back to the person I'd somehow forgotten I was.

5 out of 5 stars Way more than I expected!!!.......2004-01-21

Right off from track one I was blown away. This is hands down the best work for BVA. It is sad to see a band of this caliber split up, but none the less, "miles away" and "medicate" are two the most lyricly interesting songs on the cd. I think that it will be a long time till we see another album of this magnitude

    4 out of 5 stars New admirer.......2003-04-20

I found The Verve Pipe when tracking down some favorite songs from movies I'd recorded. Two songs (from "Rock Star" and "Joe Somebody") came from this one band, and I bought this CD as well as Villains and Pop Smear. I can understand the less than complimentary reviews some long-time fans have logged. Some of the pieces on Underneath are a bit over-produced, with too many acoustic gizmos. (Case in point: "Happiness Is".) But I think the more polished presentation also allows TVP's talent to come through on this CD clearer than the others, showcasing catchy and innovative themes, multiple layers, tight harmonic vocals, and lyrics that are worth listening to. (A rare thing these days.) I think this is a good CD for listeners to start with, there are several excellent cuts here I find myself listening to over and over.

Though based in North Carolina, David Wilcox shares much with the New England folk mafia of John Gorka and Dar Williams. His seventh album pursues the quasi-spiritualist and anticonsumerist homilies of his previous work, without extending his artistic range much beyond some gussied-up rock arrangements and the failed trip-folk of "Sex and Music." Wilcox is at his best with romantic ballads such as "Home Within Your Heart," with its plain-spoken opening, "Too tired to sleep, too angry to pray / Too far down to get back up, too lost to find my way." But the fatal flaw here lies in the tone: Wilcox's social commentary grows preachy and cloyingly earnest, undercutting his melodic sophistication and tasteful acoustic arrangements. Fans of Wilcox will likely love this consistent, true-to-folk effort, but ultimately Wilcox is singing to the choir. --Roy Kasten

    4 out of 5 stars Smooth, slick & sincere.......2002-08-18

Wilcox shows his mastery of the singer-songwriter genre. He's got a terrific voice (great control, with a tone resembling and almost as pretty as James Taylor's) and a great ear for lyrics.

Most songs feature standard folk-y guitar, but with a variety of accompaniments and soloists that keeps the music changing and interesting. (And having backing contributions from aces such as Jennifer Kimball, Alison Krause, Victor Wooten and Steuart Smith doesn't hurt!)

The real stars are Wilcox's captivating lyrics. They're captivating. He lays out the standard folky treatments of social themes -- injustice, greed, war -- but in original ways that avoid the standard cliches. He also finds ways to demonstrate his well-known cleverness and humor, but without the cringe-making cuteness or heavy hand that most of his singer-songwriter peers wield.

This recording should go down well with any fans of the genre. Solid, engaging, well-crafted work from start to end.

david wilcox is a genius, he is without a doubt one of the best singer/songwriters that has ever lived.....the only reason i give this a 4 and not a 5 is because of who produced the album, other that that this is a great buy.

5 out of 5 stars A Sleeper, An Absolute Gem.......2002-03-03

I've been a major David Wilcox fan since the beginning--when he hit the national scene with his critically acclaimed 1989 A&M album "How Did You Find Me Here." I've purchased all his other albums immediately after they were released, and seen him in concert. He is an enormous talent, a consummate artist. No singer-songwriter has moved me so much since I first discovered Jackson Browne, James Taylor, and Joni Mitchell as a kid back in the early 70s. Times have changed, and David Wilcox will never be as popular as his predecessors, but he is just as talented. He has not put out a bad album or even a mediocre one. Having thus established my fan credentials, I want to say that "Underneath" is my personal DW favorite. It has had more time in my CD changer than any other in my very large collection since it arrived two years ago. "Underneath" has never been given the credit it deserved, which is a shame. I think it is one David Wilcox's most musically and lyrically mature works. I put it right at the top of the DW catalogue with my other personal favorite, "Big Horizon" (both are on my 10 favorite albums list). "Underneath" is lyrically sophisticated, musically complex and subtle at the same time. Several of the songs on this album have a bittersweet melancholia, both musically and lyrically, but the overall tone is one of discovery, hanging on, and spiritual hope, with a feel somewhat similar to James Taylor's "Hourglass." DW's virtuoso accoustic guitar work is as good on this CD as any he has recorded, but is completed nicely by other touches, including uillean pipes, keyboards, electric guitar, great percussion, and terrific harmony vocals from several artists, including Allison Krauss and Jennifer Kimball. My personal favorite songs on this CD are "Slipping Through My Fist," and "Home Within Your Heart." If you appreciate lyrically gifted singer-songwriters who deliver songs with real depth, give David Wildox and this CD a listen.

4 out of 5 stars Not his best, but worth a listen........2000-10-02

No one knows his name, unless they are a fan. If so, they know all of the words by heart. This guy is so good you can't help but listen. I'd suggest "How Did You Find Me Here" for the beginner, but you'll end up buying this one anyway. Though it's not up to his usual standard. Of course, it's still good.

I've seen David Wilcox in concert four times, each time has only gotten better. It's him, his guitar, a microphone, and an audience in the palm of his hand. Check out "East Ashville Hardware" if you want more of the concert experience. And, if you can find the video "An Artist's Profile," it also gives you a great insight to a talented artist.

David Wilcox's music was introduced to me maybe ten years ago by a friend. I have anxiously awaited his every release since, and I have seen him in concert in Tucson. I think "Underneath" is one of his finest works. When compassion is once again in fashion, he will certainly be in the top forty. I recommend this cd to anyone, especially other acoustic folkies like myself.

5 out of 5 stars my only regret..........2007-04-13

is that it took me until 2 weeks ago to purchase this album! I wasted almost 3 years I could've been enjoying the amazing songwriting, musicianship, and singing of these incredible brothers! Sure I'd heard of Hanson and all along thought they were talented and enjoyable, but I had no idea how much. The Best of CD was a great sampling of the first 2 CDs (my kids also love it) but I have to admit they are getting even better with age. Check out Strong Enough to Break documentary for the fascinating tale about them trying to make this album...

First and foremost, do you all remember the Wizard Of Oz?
Granted this may seem a peculiar question to start a review with (or even to include in a review of a CD other than the Wizard Of Oz soundtrack at all), but I do have a point.

You may or may not (doesn't matter!) remember the scene where Dorothy and Co. finally get to see the Wizard (of Oz), and he sends them to get the broomstick of the Wicked Witch Of The West and, when they bring it back they discover that the Wizard is really just an old man.

You may, better yet, remember that he says to them (via the microphone etc) "pay no attention to that man behind the curtain".

Well if so, I want you to imagine MMMBop is behind a curtain, and I want you to pay no attention to it!

Many people upon hearing the name Hanson instantly think of it's sugary sweet pop chorus and dread the day the Hanson's came to be signed by Mercury Records, and with gritted teeth attempt to ignore the song they dispise so much.

To all of those people - get over it. It's been a long time. The Hanson boys are over it now, and so should you be.

ANYWAY, of UNDERNEATH I have this to say:

Underneath is argueable the best album Hanson have done so far. It's mature, yet theres a youthful exuberance about it. The songs are nice to hear. Yet they can rock your socks. Each song, has something about it that I treasure. Each song has lyrics that move me to laughter, tears, loves and fears...they're songs that will be as good in 20 years as today...timeless music. They are songs that I would be proud to have created. Songs that I wish like hell I had!

With the MMMBop insanity forgotten one can focus on the quality, purity, versatility, sometimes dance-a-bility, heartbroke crying over a messy break up-a-bility, and most of all...depth...of these 13 brilliant pieces.

These songs perfectly accompany every kind of moment in life, and that's what good music is, isn't it? Music that you carry with you on the journey of life, and that take you back through the roads of that journey long after it is over.

Hanson have left the disposable surface material behind and gone deeper into themselves; deeper into MUSIC!; deeper into the heart of every person with ears.

This music seems to penetrate to depths of soul within me that little music has.

Therefore I urge you do forget about the tracks hidden by the curtain of time, and focus on the present...that which can be heard here, where the curtains are open.

Delve deeper into this offering...it's a very, beautifully, tasty treat...and you won't be disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars This Is What Real People Listen To.......2006-01-08

I use to be one of those people who loved R'n B and other junk that people listen to these days. I wouldn't give anything a chance. Now I see how stupid I was, to listen to what every other teenager was listening too. I finally gave these guys a chance and you know what? I love them.
Stop listening to what everyone else is listening to and try something new. Don't be ashamed of what you like, everyone has different taste.
Hanson's Strong Enough to Break is a great new album and the critics love it. They spent three years on this and it was worth it. It's nice to pop earphones on because some of these songs are relaxing and will keep you smiling. But then there are the stonger stuff that will make you jump off the couch and play your air guitar, or hitting your thighs as if they're drums.

'Strong Enough to Break' - Great upbeat song, very good start. Lots of Energy.
'Dancin' in the Wind' - Not a fan of this song. I just don't like the tune. Still upbeat.
'Penny & Me' - Wow, I love this song. It's so catchy and I have never gotten sick of it. One of my favourites, still upbeat.
'Underneath' - this is the first ballad and it's so nice. Taylor's voice is very soothing when he sings. Fantastic tune, you gotta love it.
'Misery' - Zachary Hanson sings lead in this ballad. This song will grow on you. Bitter Sweet type of song. Love the melody.
'Lost Without Each Other' - This song is so darn catchy and cheerful, this is what makes Hanson, Hanson. It's my favourite. Even my friends who hate them, like this song. If you're not a fan of them, buy the single. Sam Ferrah the Bass for a solo part. Lots of Energy put into this.
'When You're Gone' - This is slow ballad. I think this song would have been better if the beat was quicker and made it into a quicker song like "Strong Enough to Break." It's still alright.
'Broken Angel' - Once again, Zachary sings lead to this ballad. It's about an Angel that wants to earn it's wings but is told that he is too small. It's a metaphor.
'Deeper' - This is the only song that Isaac sings lead through the whole thing. I love his voice and I wished he sang lead more. It's very upbeat but it's different to 'Strong Enough to Break' and 'Lost without Each other'. Michelle puts her touch to this song, and sings back up. You'll fall for this in a second.
'Get Up and Go' - Quick dance beat. Very catchy like all the other fast songs.
'Crazy Beautiful' - Pretty much the same thing as what I just wrote. Love the tune.
'Hey' - The instrumental sounds country and I love it. Very different to the usual stuff they come up with.
'Believe' - This ballad is alright, Kevin Wyatt plays Bass this time.
The "I Will Come to You" played live from House of Blues goes on for 12 minutes. No, they don't sing "I Will Come to You" a thousand times, there's an extra song in it: Lula Belle. There's a long wait though.

Is the bonus DVD worth the extra money? You bet it is. There are three clips of Hanson singing live including This Time Around and two other songs from the album 'This Time Around.' There's a not very long yet not short clip of the making of this album. It is titled Underneath Underneath. Very good. I've never seen them play live before and it's very different to how other bands play. Taylor actually lets the audience sing for them sometimes.

There's alot of the word "love" being used here, because I do, and so will you.
