Stupendous soloists - unreal ornamentation!.......2002-10-13
It is definately a 'live' recording and the quality is not what one might call 'CD quality' but the singing makes it the finest Rinaldo you will EVER hear - the ornamentation is stupendous, but not 'over-the-top'.
An absolute must-have in any Handel collection - makes the Hogwood soloists perfectly tame and pale in comparison (although the sound quality in Hogwood and effects are superior).
Words cannot decribe how fantastic the singing is......
