Almost As Good As Moonwater and Snow Goddess.......2005-08-07

Moonwater and Snow Goddess are hard to beat, by anyone. Pure sonic poetry. Journey to Zipangu is very good, just not as good as his previous two albums. I would say if you like Himekami, get it anyway. Also, check out Mai Eri Sugai. Real top shelf Asian style music.

Hello,it's me Ed again.I want to tell you how marvelous I think this CD is!I just only recently got this CD by ordering it. Even though it took 17 days of patience,it sure was worth it!Plus,I was lucky I got this album because it turns out this was the LAST copy of this album availible! Anyway,this CD is very pretty , very dramatic, very energizing, and very soothing at the same time! My personal favorite tracks are #1 South seas of light,#2 Isle of gold and silver,#3 Journey To Zipangu,#4 Eldorado To the East, and the rest are also pretty.I also agree with the first reviewer, Journey to zipangu does make you feel as if your on top of a very high mountain.[The track]Overall,I truly love this album! This is definetly going to become one of my classic New Age albums! I truly recomend you buy this album.Trust me,it's worth it! This is Ed signing off.

I've enjoyed the work of Himekami for some time. I wish they would release more. There is a majesty here that lifts your spirit to new heights. If you like classic, this has it and more. The title song, Journey to Zipangu, is breathtakingly grand.........it takes you to the top of mountain......a mountain that views the world! Seriously. It is something else. It really is a mix of Arkenstone and Kitaro.
