THIS CD IS A SUPERB COLLECTION OF THE VARIOUS RHYTHMS THAT COME FROM LATIN AMERICA. THEY ARE SOOTHING, INSPIRING, VIBRANT AND A DELIGHT TO LISTEN TO. YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED, THAT'S FOR SURE. I HEARD THESE SONGS FROMA TAPE OVER 15 YEARS AGO WHEN A FRIEND (WHO IS A MUSICIAN HIMSELF) ACCIDENTALLY FORGOT IT IN MY CAR AND TO MY SOUL'S BENEFIT I LISTENED TO IT TIME AND TIME AGAIN... UNTIL I GOT A HOLD OF THE CD WHICH SOUNDS EVEN BETTER. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This one is absolutly wonderful music. It includes some of the best from many different traditions in SA. I have found it enchanting. It is perfect for occasions when you just want to relax. Try it and you will see. It will be one of your favorites too.

I first heard this between pieces on PBS' All Things Considered. I ordered the CD and have enjoyed it for years! Great examples of both instrumental and vocals with traditional Latim American rythms and instruments.
