If you like beautiful, lyrical melodies and also enjoy lighthearted fun, I suggest that you order the Spirits of the Wind CD. The compositions of Alexander Peskanov are exquisite jewels, ones that you can listen to over and over. Mr. Peskanov's expressive performance and technical expertise create a magical experience for the listener. I have bought a Spirits of the Wind CD for each of my very best friends from Amsterdam to Los Angeles. I advise that you to do the same.

I have more than listened to this CD. I have virtually memorized it. These are Peskanov's own compositions. In fact, the sheet music for most of them is available on his web site. From the simplest to the most complex, Peskanov consistently puts his entire heart and soul, as well as his incredible technical expertise, into his music. I have seen videos of him playing a number of these recordings, and he quite apparently has a wonderful time at the piano. So much so that you can't help but have a great time along with him.

A boldly conceived collection of tone poems, Nature's Fantasies projects a quick series of images from around the world: emerald green jungles, the Serengeti Plain, wind over the tundra, Brazilian sunsets, tranquil Japanese gardens, mysterious tunnels in Tunisia, and the streets of Rome. The music is an exotic blend of sultry samba rhythms and lush tropical scenes, combining seductive Latin ballads with atmospheric electronic soundpaintings full of light, color, and flickering shadows.
