A delightful, surprise -- One I'd buy for friends.......2002-12-10

I bought this CD on a whim, and it has turned out to be one of my favorites. I had never listened to harp music, and more or less thought that it would be boring. Was I wrong!!!! This album has made me a fan of harp music, to the extent that I spent a lot of time searching for it to give to friends. What surprised me was the variety of music styles and rhythms to which the harp can adapt. Track 4, Coquetta, is especially fun. It is hard to be sad when you listen to this -- it is so lively and lovely. At times it just sings in my head. I am now looking forward to purchasing the 2nd volume of the Art of Harp.
