Good listening.......2004-03-27

Back in 1992, when I was at a music store, McAllen, TX, I was looking for some CD's, they were playing this one, in fact the song I first heard was "Trip", and I like it a lot, I bought it at that time. The whole CD sounds great. "Deserted Cities of the Heart", is a cover, and it sounds pretty good. Another song, "Who Do You Love", I like it, easy listening. "Hello Wonderful", progressive sound, but with a little grunge sound, I like the WHOLE album. This band comes from Seattle, WA. so by the time and origin you may guess what type of music you will find out, Grunge, but with a mixture of Progressive sound, but in an easy listening, this mixture comes out great. The band members are: Curtis Lee Chandler, guitar and vocals; Martin Sutlovishnu, bass; and on drums Ruppi Barnickel. All songs are written by Chandler, except "Have you heard", which was written by Chandler and Sutlovishnu, and "Deserted Cities of the Heart", by Jack Bruce (Cream) and Pete Brown. I don't know what happened to this band, it seems that this is their only CD, what a shame. If you have the opportunity, buy it.
