"Cattango" blends traditional Latin flavor with splendid nylon string guitars, while "Dreamstreet" combines sensuous keyboards with superb saxophone. Over a year of research and developement went into the 18 selections, that were written and composed by cat lovers. Music for your Soul Too!.......2002-05-18

Unreal! A brilliant collection of songs. I felt compelled to write a review because it's a rarity to find an eclectic range of songs that actually moves me. Frankly, I was very curious to see how my cats would respond. As soon as I played the first song my youngest cat Tiger jumped onto the speaker and laid there. I was utterly impressed! With the classical sounds of Cattango, my laziest cat Lucky became real affectionate with Tiger and that just does not happen.
I wish I could play the music backwards and see if there were subliminal messages? Seriously, I don't believe in hocus-pocus but I'm a believer... every time I play this CD my cats purr. Forget about the cats this is truly an amazing album that will impress you every time you play it. Just before, I put on my headphones, hit play, and closed my eyes to fully appreciate the music. I ventured off to another world. It's very interesting that every time I play these songs I feel like I'm hearing a different version...I hear parts that I didn't before. Bottom line, this is an amazing album that will transcend time. It seems like most every style is used but in an original way. Just Brilliant!

"Music for Cats...and People Too" was a life saver for this cat family!

This wonderful CD helped make a transition from familiar surroundings in Europe to a new home in the US much less stressful for all of us.

Upon arrival in the US, the cats found favorite hiding spots and ventured out very little during the day. We purchased "Music for Cats..." and played it several times a day to establish a sense of calm and familiarity. Soon, the sounds of the first track were enough to bring them out for play and affection. Cat Tango was a particular favorite.

A year later, we still play "Music for Cats...", but no longer to ease stress. We just enjoy the beautiful music and are thankful for the good instincts and intentions of the recording artists!

Wonderful!!!!.......2002-05-09

I think this cd is wonderful!!!! The day it arrived, I put it on, and since then, have taken it with me when I drive to work, and I also listen to it at work! It is soothing as well inspiring all at the same time. Plus, my cocker spaniel enjoys it as much as my cat!! I reccomend this recording for anyone who appreciates great music, or just needs to relax. Once again, Wonderful!!!

Beautiful music. We all love it!.......2002-04-01

I bought this CD because I have 4 cats and love music. I was amazed to find that they all responded to the music in their own way. It puts one of them, Bundy, right to sleep. Another, Proty, kind of just stands there in a trance with his eyes closed. I enjoy the music myself very much, and play it often during the day while I'm doing my work; I find it very relaxing and soothing and there isn't one song I don't like. I love "Cattango", and "Dreamstreet". Very nice and highly recommended to all music and cat lovers alike!

Music that's cool for cats and people too!.......2002-01-21

I found this album to be very smooth and relaxing.
Some of the music reminds me of one of my favourite Italian composers: Nicola Piovani.
I feel that these musicians could easily compose a stunning film soundtrack.
"Cattango" has some delightful classical guitar work as does "Lament".
I enjoyed the Mediaeval feel of "Kitty Quartet" and "Adagietto". A nice surprise for me as I like the music of that period.
The use of the natural human voice and natural sounds work beautifully on tracks such as "Spirit in Nature". This offers a soothing background music.
A lovely combination of light Jazz, Latin, Classical and Nature sounds make this CD an enjoyable experience.
