Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, MBA, R.Y.T., CHHC, has shared her special blend of motivation and relaxation techniques with audiences throughout the United States – from stressed-out execs and tapped-out moms to inner-city people fighting asthma… at events and venues ranging from the Harvard Business School Women Alumnae Association and Eileen Fisher Executive Meetings, to Club Mom International Indulgence Day and Harlem Hospital’s "Breathing in Life" Asthma Fair. After almost dying from an ulcerated digestive system, this former Vice President at MTV Networks, now helps people from all walks of life, live better lives. Teresa is President of Power Living Enterprises, Inc., which offers lifestyle and success coaching, inspirational content and products. She is also Founder of Ta Life, Inc., a wellness organization that promotes healthy and positive living to underserved urban communities. The entity operates the Ta Yoga House – one of the first yoga centers in Harlem, and has received recognition from President Clinton’s Harlem Small Business Initiative and the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.

Teresa has a B.A. in Sociology & Studio Art from Wellesley College, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and certifications in Holistic Health Counseling, Fitness, Lifestyle & Weight Management, and Yoga. She has received The Network Journal’s 40 Under Forty Achievement Award for 2004, and the Kripalu Yoga Teacher’s Association 2004 Teaching for Diversity Award. As a lifestyle expert, she has been featured in media in the U.S. and Europe, ranging from O: The Oprah Magazine, Yoga Journal and The KIP Business Report, to WBAI, Smart Woman TV segments and ARD Television in Germany. She is on the Board of Directors of Yoga Alliance.
