This is very good music to listen to while practicing the Reiki levels. I am just now learning Reiki 2, and this is very, very good music to help you keep your focus and keep one calm. Also is good even when I am not practicing any Reiki, it helps to calm a person down. Excellent music.

New Favorite.......2007-01-12

Although I have several of Jonathan Goldman's CDs, this one is now my new favorite. It is very peaceful and calming and balancing, so we use if for meditating, healing/Reiki/massage sessions, and around the home & office in general to help clear the environment when stress rears it's ugly head! Also, useful for calming down and dropping off to sleep at night.

Pleasant, Melodic Relaxation Music.......2003-08-19

This CD has an hour of soothing, classical style melodies, with New Age style instrumentation. While the music is nice and useful for relaxation and healing purposes, it could have been even better if the recording had less of a synthesized sound. The warmth of real instruments found in classical music is missing, and this has more of an elevator-music production ambiance. There is a section with the sound of flowing water meshing with the musical flow that works well, and I liked this album overall - I just don't give it 5 stars because it sounds too "synthy" and could have been infused with more warmth in arrangement and production.

Disappointed in Di Donna's Reiki Spirit.......2005-05-14

What a disappointment! I purchased Reiki Spirit, because I thought it was a CD my wife was looking for named Cho Ku Rei. The latter is the name of the first piece on Reiki Spirit. Not only was this not the CD we wanted, but we didn't like the music that was on the CD! For the most part, the music was too melancholy. It just didn't seem to have the flow we have experienced listening to other Reiki music.

We also felt that the CD was intellectually dishonest, because the music for the piece named Dai Ko Mio is actually taken from a piece of classical music - Jules Massanet's Méditation (Thaïs), which is not mentioned or acknowedged anywhere on the text accompanying the CD. My wife would still prefer to get the Cho Ku Rei CD by Weave, which she heard at her Reiki Master's house and I would rather have any of the Reiki music by Merlin's Magic or the Chakra Suite by Steve Halpern.
