THE BEST CD FOR MEDITATION OR FOR RELAXING.......2007-07-23

This is by far the best meditation cd you can listen to. It has 2 tracks of the MOOLA MANTRA (or Root Mantra) sung by Sri Ananda Giri from the Oneness University (Oneness Movement) which founders are SRI AMMA and SRI BHAGAVAN, (check the website in the U.S.A. [...]). The best time to listen to this cd is when you receive a Oneness Blessing or Oneness Deeksha. The first time I listen this mantra was sung by one Deeksha Giver and it lead me deep into my hearth, then I listen the 2nd track, 21 minutes of deep peace and blissfull meditation, this body was not there, only Conciousness and the Moola Mantra...
You won't be disapointed.

Listening to this CD in the hope of going into a meditative space will prove disappointing unless one is fascinated by the wailing and quivering male voice repeating the mantra over and over again in less than precise diction. The only thing that deserves one star here is the background music where the voice is still present but muted.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!.......2005-08-30

This CD is by far the best CD available in the meditation music market. Most of the other CDs have several tracks, thereby breaking the flow of one's meditation. Dhyana Mantra has just 2 tracks of 21 min each. The length of each track is just perfect for going into deep states of meditation. As always, expereinces are better than my discription. Anyone who tries this CD will find it truely amazing and will also experience the deep meditative state that I have been enjoying. Just try it and see!!

Sacred sounds from Manose & Friends.......2007-01-22

I bought this CD along with two others after hearing Manose play with Deva Premal & Miten (he did backing on a recent world tour). In one song Deva & Miten sang they brought Manose in to play along with them - fully improvised... what a challenge and the result was breathtaking... I'm sure he sold dozens of CDs that night on that performance alone! Manose hails from Nepal, although he's travelled the world and has worked with Jai Uttal and Peter Rowan and many other talented musicians. He has a beautiful life story that you can read on the web if you desire.

Manose plays the bamboo flute and has trained in Raga music. He is very gifted. I really love the work of Riley Lee and am always keen to pick something up new on the flute, so was grateful to be introduced to his music.

Dhyana Aman is a very beautiful CD! It has tracks wonderful chants (male and female), chimes and bells, drums, a little overtoning, and others with Manose's hauntingly beautiful bamboo flute playing in the foreground. All leading to a feeling of the creation of a very sacred space. I'd think it's best for massage or healing arts if you have problems with chants etc. distracting you in your meditation.

Manose is a great player and a beautiful human being. I encourage you to check out his work, including Suskera. This is an excellent place to start.

Inspiring and Relaxing Flute from Nepal.......2002-03-10

This CD is really wonderful for meditation and massage. It's better than a lot of other music sold for "healing" and "relaxation" because it is acoustic and based and ancient traditions from Nepal. It feels a lot deeper to me.

The bamboo flute, which is on about half the tracks, is really beautiful. The player, Manose, is clearly very skilled and the sound he creates is so moving. The tone of the flute he plays is very different from silver flute. It is much deeper and more soulfull.

I really like this CD!!

If you're unfamiliar with Peter's post-Mac work, this is a pretty nice place to start, as it compiles some of the finest tracks from his typically hard-to-find late '70s and early '80s albums. Throughout, this compilation presents a consistency in tone, mood and quality.... so that it actually feels like it was recorded at one session. Get this disc. If you like high-quality, moving blues-rock, you will not be disappointed.

Mid-80s Compilation.......1999-02-19

This is a recent release but does not contain any new material. It's another compilation of songs from Peter Green's 80s solo albums. Hardcore Green fans will likely have these tracks on the original albums; those who are interested will be better served by the vastly superior "Green and Guitar" compilation. (Note: both of these collections chicken out and use a "young" picture of Peter when he was still in Fleetwood Mac. At the time these songs were recorded he already looked older and was starting to lose his hair. So much for truth in advertising...)

Darn solid electric blues.......1999-01-23

If you're guitar-oriented, and into electric blues incorporating that wonderful (but not overdone) reverb...get this album (oops, disclosed my age). This is good stuff. Peter Green's phrasing is unmatched....try to predict the next riff and something better comes off.

The best meditation CD I've found.......2004-08-03

I have a home yoga studio filled with books, cd's and other relaxation tools for myself and students. Ms Nucatola's voice is other-worldy and her style of leading meditation is almost shamanic in it's effectiveness. The music is soothing and transportive on it's own, but it is, without a doubt, Amber's voice and words that will send you into out of body states. What a CD!
