About the Artist
David Tolley has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music Composition from O.S.U. As a pianist, he has performed several times on THE TONIGHT SHOW and at THE WHITE HOUSE. As a composer, he has written the music for numerous films and TV shows, including projects for Steven Speilberg, and composing all the original music for EuroDisney in Paris. He is the composer of 8 full length musicals, including "A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS CAROL". As an artist, David has 12 solo albums, as well as many other albums with other artists including the London Symphony Orchestra.

What a great collection of old standards.......2000-11-17

This is an exciting cd. It features the hits of many of the great tunesmiths of America. What a treat!

I belive this series showcases six composers on each cd. With this format, there's no way to go wrong with this cd. The 101 Strings do a wonderful job of performaning these songs.

Recommendation: I think it would be wise to buy this cd if you love the standards.

I have listened to this CD many times and in many differnt places (car, home, and at work. It is by far my favorite album of piano solos. I was wondering if he tours at all? I would love to him him live. THANX for the beautiful music!
