THE ONLY SONG I LIKE IN THIS ALBUM IS "SOLO A TU LADO QUIERO VIVIR",IT IS A VERY ROMANTIC SONG, AS FOR THE REST OF THE SONGS THEY ARE JUST SIMPLE.

Are you crazy? Okay. The only song that I like from this CD is Solo a tu lado quiero vivir and I want to spend my whole life with you, or my life with you... ha, ha! I don't listen to the CD much. First of all, "What he don't know" should be "What he doesn't know." It's clear that they can't speak English. Jyve V, don't even think about recording an english album, please! This CD was released a month ago, and it's so bad that only two people reviewed it before I did! That is just how good this CD is. Of course, you'd buy anything when you're a fan, but talent? Ha, ha, ha! The guys don't know what that word is. It's not in their dictionary. Nice try, Jyve V. I will wait for the next one, that is, if I buy it!

Fun and romance with Jyve V.......2001-12-18

"Solar," the CD by the five man vocal group Jyve V, is an excellent collection of Latin pop. The CD has a good mix of fast tempo songs and slow, romantic ballads. Although most of the songs have Spanish lyrics, a few are sung in English. The sound throughout is great: a nice balance of solo parts and group vocals, all well complemented by consistently interesting instrumental choices.

The CD gets off to a high energy start with "Vete de Mi," a fast song with a funky high tech sound. This is immediately followed by "Solo a Tu Lado Quiero Vivir," a tender ballad with sensitive vocal performances. Other good selections: "Rumba," an upbeat song with a particularly strong Latin flavor; "Ayer," a romantic ballad that opens with a rather mystical sound; and "Fantasy," a really fun English-language song.

Another good English-language track is the fun, bouncy "I'm Still Standing." And if you're a hopeless romantic, you should like the CD's last song (also in English), "I Want to Spend My Whole Life With You." Sample lyrics: "I want to spend my whole life with you / I want to make all your dreams come true."

If you like Latin "boy band" MDO, or "Anglo" groups like the Backstreet Boys, I would highly recommend Jyve V's "Solar." It's a great CD.

One Great Album!!!!.......2001-11-30

Jyve V is truly on to something that can definitely compete in the Latin Pop and English Pop markets. They have an energy that they have captured in "Solar" that trancsends cultural boundires. "Solar" contains a variety of songs in Spanish and English that range from sensual ballads to dance songs filled with hip hop beats and Latin spice. Songs that you can move to and groove to. Anyone that loves pop, hip hop, or latin dance will love this album. Its diversity will appeal to a wide range of music lovers everywhere. They are a unique blend of both cultures and are not hindered in either language. Their smooth sound is captured in each and every song. You can feel the Latino, the youth and the energy in this album.

One hit wonder.......2004-05-17

I absolutely love "Entre Tu y Yo". I can't get enough of the song and bought the CD for the track. Unfortunately, there is nothing else on this CD that moves me. Furthermore, has anyone heard from Jyve 5 since this song came out in the summer of 2000? It's a beautiful song, but the CD for it, as you won't find the song elsewhere. But don't expect too much more from the CD, or Jyve 5 for that matter.

Jyve V's "Entre Tu y Yo" is a great pop production that goes from pop, to tropical pop and romantic ballads. They can compete with N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and more and easily win the competition with great vocals and dance moves. I highly recomend this album to all the fans of pop and latin music. Listen carefully to songs like "Niña Bonita", "I Pray", "No Me Digas Que No" and "Entre Tu y Yo". These five guys will make you dance and sing with no effort at all.

El cd esta mega bno. Tienen canciones en español, ingles y bilingue. El cd contiene rock, pop, balada y ritmo latino. jyve v es un grupo puertorriqueño q empezaron bailando; hasta q los descubrieron y c dieron cuenta q ademas d bailar, tenian una gran voz; y el resto es historia. Les aseguro q no c van a arrepentir. Las canciones mas pedidas son "Niña Bonita", "Maria Morena", "No me digas q no" "Entre Tu y Yo" y "I Pray".

JYVE V es un grupo puertorriqueño lleno de talento y con coreografias brutales. En el cd tienen canciones en ingles y español.Tienen canciones bailables, baladas, pop en fin tienen de todo un poco. Cuando los escuhces vas a querer tener el cd siempre. Espero que les guste. ~*keep jyve v alive*~

Sinceramente esta produccion es una con muy buenas canciones y escelente musica el grupo es uno de los mejores que yo haya visto en coreografia,son ecxelentes los comparo con n'sync,pero cuando vamos hablar de voces vemos que en eso estan limitados,siempre mantienen el mismo tono en todas las canciones sonando muchas veces hasta aburrido haciendo decaer una cancion no le dan esa pasion especial en los tonos altos,pero en todo lo otro es un excelente boy band de puerto rico.
