Fanstic.......2004-11-20

I have known Rey Ruiz since late 2000 when I got Fenomenal for christmas and this is my second cd and its fanstic. I was worried I was not going to like it because where I live I have heard only 2 songs on the radio. But it turned out to be very nice. Now he does have only 8 different songs but if you are a Rey Ruiz fand I think you should bye it. And more if you hve followed Rey Ruiz since hes first cd. The first 7 songs are Salsa. Number 8 is Bolero. But very nice. Song 9 is song 4 in pop. And song 10 is song 2 in balada. If you are new to Rey Ruiz's music I would also suggest 22 Ultimate Salsahits 2002. Thank You

Rey Ruiz volvio con un album puro y buenisimo. Creo en el amor esta de lo mejor 2004, tienes escalofrio solomente a escucharlo. Fuiste Mia esta una de mis mejores canciones del album ( es un son/balada ) Escalofrios otra vez

Regreso Rey Ruiz despues de 3 años sin grabar un disco, en el recoge la ecencia de lo que es Rey Ruiz. Es verdad que el disco puede caer un un poco en la monotonia pero el que sea fanatico de Rey quedara muy complacido de este disco. "Mi Tentacion" es el primero para Rey Ruiz para Sony Discos despues de varios años de separacion. "Creo En El Amor" es el primer corte promocional y esta buenisimo por eso se encuentra entre los primeros lugares de la revista Billboard, en fin Sony esta haciendo el trabajo con el, trabajo que no puede mermar si lo quieren mantener. Si puedo decir que este disco no iguala a "Fenomenal" su disco anterior que estuvo exelente en todo los sentidos. En fin Rey tiene futuro todavia, todo depende de Sony Discos.

An Oldie but Goodie!!!!.......1999-05-20

Great salsa music...this is one of the CDs in my collection that I seem to always reach for. One word of caution though, if you have several other Rey Ruiz CDs, they tend to all have the same sound. However, if I had to choose one, this would be it. ENJOY!

A new style for the "Rey".......2002-11-09

I enjoyed this album instantly when I first listened to it two years ago. Rey Ruiz debuts "Fenomenal" with his new record company and he certainly has changed his style. This salsa has new rhythms, new energy and new acoustics. This is a nice come back for Rey Ruiz who has dwindled over the past few years. He virtually has had no significant recognition since his album "Destino" or prior. The only flaw on this album is the quality of recording. There is a lot distortion which is unfortunate because it ruins the flavor of such a tremendous album. The album is great other than the recording flaws.

Where is Marc Anthony?.......2002-02-20

On this CD Ray Ruiz sounds like a Marc Anthony clone, same voice, same beat, same style, same energy. I had to come back here to check the release dates to see who came first. Ruiz or Anthony. I give it 4 stars because the music is excellent... just like Marc Anthony.

CD with technical difficulties can not be considered as a good CD. There are at least four glitches/skips I found on brand new CD. Do not buy it.
Un CD con dificultades tecnicas no puede ser considerado como un buen CD. Hay al menos cuatro problemas que encontre en el nuevo CD. No lo compre.

Este CD ya tiene 3 éxitos ("Muévelo", "Desde que no estás" y "Tuyo" (en Colombia)) y seguirá teniéndolos porque está buenísimo.

Rey Ruiz no es solamente muy guapo sino que también es uno de los mejores cantantes de salsa romántica que tenemos. Su voz es seductora y la la vez llena de energía. Su entrega se nota en cada tema. Es un bonito detalle que Rey haya dedicado una canción a sus fans en esta producción ("Amigos de verdad"). ¡Gracias!

Lástima que no le brinden más atención en las emisoras de los Estados Unidos. Este muchacho, ya veterano en su género, se merece más.

SALSA DE LA MEJOR........2000-10-11

Este disco es uno de mis favoritos dentro del genero salsa,considero que de todas las producciones musicales de Rey esta es la que mas sabor y ritmo tiene,si usted,al igual que yo,es amante de la musica salsa no se arrepentira de comprarlo,esta es una salsa muy fresca y moderna a la vez lo cual muy pocos salseros han logrado.La razon por la que doy 4 estrellas es debido a "pequenos defectos tecnicos(2)",ambos en la primera cancion,uno exactamente al comienzo y el otro a los 2:58 segundos en esa misma cancion.Realmente la calidad de grabacion de SONY TROPICAL es superior a BOHEMIA RECORDS,desconozco el motivo(dinero?) por el que Rey hizo este cambio,no obstante la musica es insuperable y los errores son muy pequenos,ademas posiblemente sean corregidos en ediciones futuras.

En la actualidad es su primer disco y fue uno de sus mejores. Todos sus 8 temas son tremendos y todos fueron exitos en la radio. Para referencias su tercera produccion "En Cuerpo y Alma" fue uno de sus mejores trabajos discograficos. En esta produccion tambien sus 10 temas son excelentes.

Excellent!!! These guys rock!!.......2003-07-25

I love this album. A friend of mine at work let me borrow it. I fell in love with it and will get one for myself. Both Luis and Rey are incredible singers.

The only bad thing I have to say about the album is the last "remix" trak at the end of the album is very "disjointed" it combines bits from all the songs on the album but they don't flow one from another. I usually skip it because it sounds like an old 8 track player that is on the fritz.

Rey Ruiz and Luis Enrique are well-known Salsa singers, and this album combines songs by both of them. They have great rythm, and it's real Salsa!
