Anais was apparently on the show Objectivo Fama though I never personally saw it I did hear the Reggaeton mix of "Lo Que Son Las Cosas" on the radio. Granted, they did go a bit overboard with the number of remixes to that particular song, there are quite a few songs that I love such as "Atrapada" (I actually prefer the remix on that one as well) and "Suelta". Her slower songs aren't as good but she does have a very strong and unique voice.

Great Reggaeton.......2006-05-12

I enjoy the reggaton songs on this album, but the ballad songs do absolutely nothing for me. She does have a wonderful strong voice, but to see people comparing her to Christina and Beyonce, sorry, but they were made for ballads and Shakira is in a totally different ballgame herself. You can't compare her style (meaning Shakira) because no one else has her style which is why she is so successful. If you are a reggaton fan, I think you will her songs and I hope she continues to make more albums geared towards that genre of music and upbeat latin. I don't enjoy her voice at all in ballad form.

One of Oscar's best!.......2005-10-07

"Asi Soy..." has to be one of Oscar's very finest releases - and that's saying a lot, given his extensive catalogue. The man seldom disappoints, but this CD has incredible variety, from his customary salsa ("Vive Tu Vida") and merengue ("Adivinanza") gems all the way to a tejano-flavored duo with Rey Ruiz on "No Volvere" and a phenomenal, rock-infused "Lo Tuyo Es Mentira" that evokes the screaming guitar of Carlos Santana. The biting marital humor on "Se Acabo El Amor" (Love Is Over) will hit home with anyone. There's even an upbeat Christmas song to close the set, one that could become an instant classic. A winner!

what a nice surpise i had when i heard this cd..." SI PUDIERA CAMINAR SIN TI" "SAL y ARENA" " REZARÍA " and " NOS SORPRENDIÓ EL AMOR" in fact, the entire album is great...But still i don't feel really good about his tropical tracks like "Así Soy Yo" and "Ni una Lágrima Más". But Bustamante's voice make to listen this dumb song worth it...So go and Buy it. I'm happy to include this one to my collection.

Excellent second album.......2004-05-19

Though I loved Bustamante's first album, this second one is even better. The quality is much higher and you get a greater appreciation for his voice and how much it's grown. I must admit that Producer Emilio Estefan did an excellent job with this CD! It has a very Latin style with a good mix between dance songs and slow songs. Some of the best composers collaborated in this album and David himself even tried his hand at writing with the song "Tu y Yo." David has a lot of talent and if you like Spanish pop then I definitely recommend this CD.

This CD was a pleasant surprise. I liked his first CD, primariliy the special edition with "Perdoname". But David's voice just absolutely soars on this fantastic album. In some ways I miss the absolutely "danceability" of "No Soy Superman" and "El Aire Que Me Das". But he still has some great energetic songs like "Ni Una Lagrima Mas" and "Colgado" and "Bang, Bang". And his ballads are far superior to "Ademas de ti" and "Cuando Hacemos El Amor". My favorite ballads are "Si Pudiera Caminar Sin Ti", "Devuelveme El Aire", "No Se Vivor Sin Ti", and "Nos Sorprendio El Amor".

The more and more I listen to this CD the more it sounds like a cross between the pure pop/dance sound of Bisbal and the pop/rock sound of Sanz. Busta has a versatile voice with a great range. He may not have the rich tones of Bisbal or Fonsi, but he's got voice.

Salsa music for "True Salsa Lovers".......2001-07-08

We went for the first time to see/hear Charlie Cruz sing live his hits at a State Fair in Jersey. We never imaged that we would truly enjoyed his music and band; they are truly good. We love Salsa and we just wanted to dance or go dancing after he sang. We enjoyed his talent, he loves to dance, talk to the public and we loved that he's also a New Jersey/New York Puerto Rican, too. We also enjoyed hearing that he was bought up in the same town as "Frankie Ruiz". Hearing him sing some of Frankie's songs was a special treat to "True Salsa Lovers". We enjoyed his performance so much we went out and bought this CD. Great Salsa music for dancing and listening to. The band is truly great. All the songs are really nice to hear. We can't wait for his new CD to come out, to get it too. Charlie, keep up the good work and God Bless you with your career. Always stay as you are, and continue dancing like you do and singing great Salsa.

Charlie Cruz es uno de los mejores salseros de los ultimos tiempos. Este disco como el anterior de Charlie Cruz fue producido por el genio tropical Sergio George. Los mejores temas del disco lo son "Si No te Hubieras Ido" y "Amarte Es Un Problema", pero todos los temas son excelentes. Muy buena produccion discografica.

Tambien recomiendo "Prohibido" de Saned, "Subele El Volumen" de Michael Stuart, "Pasional" de Jessica Cristina y "Noches De fantasia" de Joseph Fonseca.

I love this song. When I first heard this song I didn't even know who was singing it. Then my best friend told me that the singer was Carlos Cruz our highschool classmate. I felt very proud of him ofcourse. I just wish you a lot of luck and always be proud of graduating from Kennedy High School, even though he amost didn't make. Any way good to know that you are making it, hope to see you on the Paterson Purtorrican parade.

Luis Vargas- el mejor de la bachata.......2003-12-20

I love Luis Vargas. He is extremely versatile- he can give you sexually playful songs like "Tomate" and "Sin Hueso," or he can bless you with a sad ballad like "Volvio el Dolor," which will make you cry whether you're experiencing heartache or not. His voice is rich, his lyrics are wonderful, and the music will have you dancing up a storm. On "Yo Soy Asi," you get some of Luis Vargas' biggest hits. Here are my ratings for each track:

1. Dos Hombres Bebiendo: Luis and his "primo", Robertico Vargas. The scenario is two men drinking in a bar, one of them experiencing heartache, the other showing compassion.
2. O Con el O Conmigo: This is my least favorite song because of the cameo by the other singer (I forget his name). But the concept is good- two men fighting for one woman.
3. Bachatero y Que: Very danceable. Luis is speaking to a woman who left him and whose family did not approve of him. He's basically rubbing his success in her face. Very danceable!
4. Tomate: Sexually playful song about Luis' love for "tomatoes." Very danceable!
5. Yo Mismo la Vi: Luis witness his woman cheating on him. Very danceable.
6. Soy Asi con Valeria: This song features Valeria. Valeria is Luis' woman on this track, and she's trying to convince him to stop cheating. Luis explains that it's in his nature. Cute.
7. Sin Hueso: Sexually playful song about handicapped men who are optimistic because, no matter what, they still have one bone. Hahah. Very danceable!
8. Volvio el Dolor: Unbelievable song about the pain a man feels for his lost love, regardless of the time that's passed. Amazing, amazing song. Makes me cry.
9. Hipocrita: Another heartache song. He's calling the woman out for being a hypocrite. This time, Luis is angrier.
10. Santo Domingo: Beautiful song, with Luis paying homage to his hometown. Very danceable.
11. Mujer Mujer: Luis is the other man in this situation. The woman is very tempting but he tells her she should stop calling him before anyone gets hurt. Very sexy song.

This CD is amazing. I love all the tracks but one. Good CD.

This album is ok... I remember when the song (Ayi Papicito) came out I loved it so much I just had to buy it I could not wait to get it! But... then of course I got the cd infact I ordered it from amazon.com well... anyways when I got it and played it through it just wasent my kind of thing the musica was ok... I guess but I really thought it and the songs were going to be more like the one song ( Ay Papicito) but infact the other ones are more mellowed out!!! It is just not one of my favorite cd's. Hey i'm just being honest with you I mean it's not terrable no there is another song on here that I like called (Soy Asi), actually it is a very good song I like the background music in the song it playes together nicely. But as for the rest of this cd I rate it a 4 out of 5 cause it's just not as I thought it would be. As for the other albums by this groupo I have never bought any other albums buy them but yes if you would like to know I would mabe would consider trying one of there other albums. If I think you should buy this cd well I could tell you of some better ones...!

I have to admit that I am not of Tex-Mex descent nor have I ever listened to Tejano or Norteño much previously before but I accidentally heard "Soy Asi" while switching through the radio while on vacation in south Texas and for the next 100 miles I couldn't get this song out of my head! After much searching, I finally found out who did this song (Limite) and after hearing the other songs on the CD, I am amazed that Limite isn't already super famous! The rest of the songs on this album are fantastic, too!

This album by Limite is the best one yet. They grew so much as a band and now they're producing smash hits like "Ay Papacito", which i have to say is my favorite. They always knew how to make music, but this album is EXCELLENT. "Soy Asi" and every other song makes you think, or makes you wanna dance! Looking for a great album just to have fun listening to? CHOOSE "Soy Asi" BY LIMITE!

Beautiful, passionate, and happy music!.......2003-06-23

This music will make you smile. "Soy Asi" is a gem, but really ALL the songs on the CD are stellar! The musicians are as tight as Steely Dan, but with a joyous Latin feel. The singer burns with intensity, but - once again - it's a joyous intensity. I think this band is poised to become a world-wide phenomenon. I love their sound! The songs are built around the vocal and a cheerful, traditional-sounding accordion. But then, they add a reggae-inflected bass line and killer percussion, taking Latin Pop into an entirely new place! I haven't been this excited about a new discovery since Sheryl Crow's first album. Give this band a listen!
