I thought it would be more instrumental... with solo's and descargas. It's more vocal and all around not the type of jams you'd hear on the dancefloor. I still like it to listen to.

This album is one of the most unique records I have ever heard, and that is after years of being a die hard music fan who listens to everything from Ludwig Van Beethoven, to the Ramones, to Cypress Hill. Charlie Palmieri is a master composer and a terrific organ player. His solos are breathtaking and the different musical genres that he mixes in his songs is what gives this record its distinctive latin flavor. The backup band is terrific as well. To me this is a classic " Salsa Vieja " record. As long as you are an avid music fan, you will enjoy this. It makes no difference whether you like Salsa or not, because the stunning musicianship will get you.
