LYNDA IS NOT SHAKIRA.......2006-03-20
I must confess: When i was a kid i used to like her songs a bit, but i never was her fan. "Gira que gira" from her 1rst album called LYNDA was her first single, a dumb but positive song, a bit catchy. From her second album( UN GRITO EN EL CORAZON), the 1rts single "Dile" really get my attention a pop-disco song (and Even today one of my favorites). But in this 3rd record her style is more like the real deal. Now she sounds like pop plus rock. "No Quiero Verte" is an amazing 1rts Single. In the other Hand i hate the vocals in "Principe Azul","Vivir Sin El",and the chorus in "Pienso En Ti", but the lyrics are great.Even if she not have the Celine Dion or Shakira Voice, she had her own talent, and i can enjoy almost every song of this cd just cause Now she really sounds more mature, more into her own thing,(Just have to listen her previous cds or her singles as "Corazon" or "El amor No Tiene Edad" to realized her grown) she's no copying anyone,(Lynda is not Shakira) a least in her music style. My favourites of this cd are...." Corazon Perdido" "No Quiero Verte"" Voy a Seguir" "Maldita Timidez" "Girando" y "Con El Alma en La Piel" great album, awesome talent.I'm really glad to have tihs cd, so Buy it.
I'm trying to get her new album "POLEN".
LYNDA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY.......2004-08-30
Well, the day has come to Lynda to become a woman, and what better way to follow the steps of Shakira. It doesn't matter that people say that Lynda imitates the Colombian Queen, what it matters, is that the results of the music she offers are very good and appealing to masses. Her first single NO QUIERO VERTE is a very nice rock-pop with a lil bit of anger. MALDITA TIMIDEZ is a more tame version but is easy to swallow. The whole feeling of this album is truly a shout for independence and free willing to do whatever Lynda wants. By far her best album ever release.
Lynad's great success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2002-04-10
Lynda's 3th CD inpressed me in how she changed in her songs and in her style. She has a great voice and great looks. When I met her in Mexico (rocoloa coka cola) she is so nice to all of her fans that look up to her. Mi dia de la independencia in one of her best albumns that she came out with, but i still like her old CD she came out with like "dile" and many more. She relates to shakira rock/pop and she is great singer (a mil por hora) in the soapapra Mi primer amor. In addition, she can make a big hit if Lynda comes to MTV with her new CD Polen, she can make it in the U.S. with all of her songs.
One of the BEST CD's.......2001-05-09
This is an excellant CD one that you can easily relate to especially if you just went through a break up. ALL of her songs are about really relate to what your going through. This is an awesome CD that has made me become one of her biggest fans!!
Great Mexican pop!.......2001-01-29
Mexican singer Lynda FINALLY gets a US release of one of her fabulous CDs..."Mi Dia De La Independencia" is a bit of a change from her previous two CDs, and we find her aping Shakira on some tracks (funny since Shakira slavishly imitates Alanis Morrissette). There's still a lot to enjoy on this CD, but we can only hope she gets back some of her own identity on the next one!
This is a good taste of Mexican bubblegum pop, something we don't hear enough of, even with the supposed "Latin explosion".
