Even if you don't speak Spanish, you'll think this rocks.......2006-03-20
They sing a cover of Radiohead's "Freak" (Perro), and make it as great as Radiohead's, but in their own style.
Great CD.

one of the best rock en espanol CD out there.......2004-07-08
It's difficult to describe all of the different images this album brought to my head. I've never done acid, but I can imagine what it feels like after listening to Evolucion Show. It was like each member of the Curanderos crew navigating the ship through twelve very unique and exciting adventures. The opening title track serves as a perfect launching pad with its contagious surf riff and user-friendly yeah-yeahs. Once aboard, the rocket blasts off with Respira and it's relentless and energetic drum beats; the perfect fuel for launching these crazy vatos into space. Once in orbit, the curanderos make their backgrounds perfectly clear; these boys are Latinos to the bone and show it loud and proud on Dolores with its spicy Latin rhythms and melancholy guitar lines. But the Cu isn't content to simply show off their Latin pride on choice cuts like Brown Machine and their bastardized version of Creep (a.k.a., Perro), they get philosophical on your asses too. Songs like Radar and Gris are like detours into a black hole; totally experimental, mysterious, and unpredictable. The first, questions the existence of God, while the later confirms it. Clocking in at a little over eight minutes long, Gris, my personal favorite, tells the story of an alien who comes to earth to bring peace but who is rejected and later executed. Allegorical? Perhaps, but it definitely makes you question your religious beliefs. Enjoy the trip folks, I highly recommend this album.
