Very pleasing pop music!.......2005-06-13

While traveling in Spain three years ago, I went to a music store and didn't quite knew what should I buy - something international that my ears will accept quickly, or maybe something really made in Spain? I didn't want to take no risks, so I asked what is the best pop music in Spanish at the time. Well, I don't know if it is the best pop music ever, but if you are a pop fan like myself, this is clearly a satisfying effort from this girl-group "Bellepop". Sure, it's no clever music, but it's fun, catchy at the first hearing, and no harm if you long for something nice in the background.
Most of the songs are translated ones, from English, but don't mind that fact, especially if you don't have the original versions of the songs. I really think they've chosen very smartly what to translate and record, and believe me - this is way better than what Britney Spears is doing, anyway! Because these girls not just look good - they can sing! And you get to hear how god they are on songs like the lovely ballad "Mi Amor Sera Para Siempre". In my opinion it's the best song on the CD, but the latin flavoured "Paraisio" is a cute sing-along one, "Si Tu Me Llamas" always reminds me of a tune I like from Grease (listen to the opening section of the song), and "Si Pides Mas" has to be my favourite American-pop song, only it's not American - and that's what makes it so special. The dance tunes "La Fuerse De Amor", "Solo Es Amor" and "No Me Pidas Amor" will make jump off your seat. I know it made me do it! "Esta Noche Mando Yo" is a mixure of R&B with pop and it's a good opener for the album.
So, for conclusion, if you like the music of The Spice Girls, Atomic Kitten, and, yes, Britney Spears, you'll like this. I promise you. And you don't have to be a teenager to enjoy this kind of infectious music! Just buy the CD and see for yourself!
