I recommend this album if you appreciate music regardless of genre. Ironically, I bought this album after trying their latest.It includes songs by the now dead Miguel Benites, one of the original members. I was stunned to discover that their prior albums were actually proof that "Duende Garrapata" and "Primavera Trumpetera" were no flukes. The carefree creativity and joyful abandon goes back to their very first song! You won't stop chuckling when you listen to this cd over and over again. It makes you want to press the repeat button again and again and wish they would issue another record soon.

I just wish everybody could listen to these guys play and sing; one get's such a good feeling afterwards, it's amazing, you cannot stop singing their songs, they just get stuck in your brain. Life feels so good! Especially with the 2nd and 3rd songs: niña de la palmera & caminito del almendro. Greatly outstanding! I was raised in Andalucia, Spain, where these guys come from, and every time I listen to their music, it feels I'm right there, in the warmth, under the always-shining andalusian sun and everlasting blue skies. I strongly recommend not only this album, but all their three:this one, "Sentimiento garrapatero..." and "el verde rebelde vuelve". I have not seen them live yet; I hope I can one day...
