Romero's music is like a fine Cubano cigar that is smooth, spicy and lingers in the air. Romero has a contemporary voice of his own that shines in this cd which contains all original material. His percussive style of piano playing is combined with melodies that stick. Along with piano Island Breeze is long on saxophone, batas, congas, flutes and other sounds of the Islands.

This has got to be one of the best of my CD collection. The music can either be very relaxing or involving, depending on the active attention you pay to it. It can be a great background mood highlighter, or else a swinging jazz experience. Whenever I listen to the CD, I always catch myself swaying to the great melodies. Great job, Romero!

I foud the cd through other means and had to have it, so I ordered it direct from the artist. It touched me that hard. I just could not wait, because of it's soul touching melody. You must try it and you will enjoy it...

This is a great CD.......2005-09-24

If you like new flamenco instrumental guitar music you will not be able to find anything better. Even after 100's of listens I'm still finding new sound and textures as well as some truly great guitar playing. I listen to this disk when I want to be transformed from my day to day life to some exotic place. Kind of a vacation without ever leaving my home. I would like to thank Laurence for his truly unique creation.

It is one of the best new flamenco/neo classical Cds I own.
A friend was playing Laurence's music while we were enjoying dinner. I was totally captivated. There were many moods projected in the music and some serious guitar playing of superb quality. I love the fact that it can just be on in the background or you can listen intensely to his music. I can't wait for his second release.
