The video goes from the migration of Puerto Ricans to USA, musica jibara, musica yoruba, bomba, plena, la danza, and they development of salsa from these in USA. The CD strictly has Salsa and the earliest Salsa Funk. It is a great compilation of the ýpioneersý of salsa. Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, Fania, Eddie Palmieri, Tipica 73, Joe Cuba, Lebron Brothers, Celia Cruz, Seguida, Jimmy Sabater, Ricardo Marrero & The Group.

Although all the songs bring you back to your roots, my favorites are ý Fuego Y La Luz, y Baila Que Baila. Nonstop descarga!
