There were some ugly songs in here.(I absolutely hate to say that about anything Andrea.)But the good far outshone the bad.
Un Nouvo Giorno stunned me the first time I heard it.It was so unlike anything I had heard from Andrea- very pop.But it soon grew on me.
Liberta is amazing.Very catchy and upbeat.
Sempre O Mai is my favorite.It keeps its tempo up and has the best of Andrea and pop.Great song.

So this album was really a double album with pop and classical songs interspersed.A good mix from the master.

When I ordered this on 12/04/2006 they said I would have it before Christmas. Then right before Christmas the delivery date was changed to mid-January. So I had to cancel my order and go, at the last minute, buy it at a store because it was a Christmas present. I wasn't happy about it and won't be buying from amazon for the holidays any longer.

Adoro a Cristian. Todos sus álbumes y canciónes son magníficas. Tiene algo extraordinario en su manera de canto. Pienso, que es el mejor cantante del amor. Sus canciónes del amor es un tesoro. I was introduced to this artist by a very good friend of mine. I am mexican and have only listened to a few spanish albums. But this CD was the ULTIMATE!!! Cristian's voice is unbelieveable. It's so soft yet strong and very romantic. This CD has brought my friend and I so much closer thru his songs that we have fallen in love. When we dance slow to some of the songs on this CD, we are in another world. We have also got Alejandro Fernadez which his voice is just as wonderful as are his songs. We will always treasure Christian's "Mi Vida Sin Tu Amor" as our beginning to a great relationship! We wish we knew where and when we could possibly see him on stage.

this is great music. coming from an avid "serious" jazz fan who does not understand a word of spanish. this is a "must buy" for all the gringos out there. i am very very impressed w/ the writing, arrangement and the vocal. this shows some serious work from the entire production staff. too bad i can't understand spanish. by the way, i think this CD is to the level of Alejandro Sanz's "Mas". by the way, any Cristian fans out there who cares to advise me which is better? "mi vida sin tu amor" or "azul", his latest release?

A different kind of listening experience.......2005-11-23

I enjoy the singing of Andrea Bocelli and have most of his CDs. Listening from his earliest to this, his latest, it's remarkable to notice how his voice and delivery have strengthened and matured. Like his other pop albums, Andrea contains a series of new songs in a romantic vein. His English has improved to the point that he is now willing to record a bit in that language. Listening to his Italian selections, unless you speak that language, is a very musical experience in that you hear pure voice, melody and nuance in a way uncluttered by lyric and its literal meaning. The music on Andrea is beautiful and a pleasure to return to again and again.

I felt like I was transported to another realm when I was listening to his singing. His strong tenor voice is captivating and surely embodies squillo. There's too much to say. This cd is a must-have for classical listeners or "pop" listeners who enjoy ballads. This cd presents beautiful and soothing music that touches your heart. I'm still in shock from the music that I'm hearing in this cd.

WOW Andrea is truly a Beautiful CD. This is Andrea's 6th "pop" release (4th In the USA) and it is really his most "pop" album to date. The others are more "POPRA" a combination of tenor singing and POP, while this CD, Andrea, is pop through and through (with the exception of In canto, which is classical). It really shows Bocelli's versility to not only be a wonderful tennor but aslo a wonderful pop singer. Its one beautiful song after another.

1) Dell'Amore Non Si Sa Love it very melodrma-ish, it will be a HIT for sure.

2) L'Attesa. A very pretty song and very radio friendly

3) Un Nuovo Giorno. Has HIT written all over it, nice pop style singing.

4) Tu Ci Sei. Very Good song; ladies this is like Bo singing in your ear while your dancing with him :) Just picture that when you listen to this song. Great vocal control to sing so high and soft at the same time.

5) Sin Tu Amor. This is done in spanish, I LOVE IT, love the blend of vocals with Reyes (Of the Gypsy Kings) and the Guitar work. BIG BIG hit in latin areas for sure.

6) Liberta. very good but no con te partio, still very pretty.

7) Per Noi. very good, I like the way it goes up and down a scale. Its a Very romantic song.

8) Le Parole Che Non Ti Ho Detto. I LOVE it; its my favorite on the CD. One of his best chores' in music History, for sure, a beautiful song.

9) Sempre O Mai. Love it, very popish, very radio friendly, very familiar.

10) In Canto. A very Pretty song, very romanza-ish.

11) Quante Volte Ti Ho Cercato. Great song, it goes up and down a scale as well, my second fav on the CD.

12) When A Child Is Born, a good song also in english. It is in a westen sytle but ends with a heck of a good tennor note.

13) Go Where Loves Goes. In english, a beautiful duet with a yong new comer named Holly Stell, it will be huge.

Overall Andrea is a beautiful CD, you can put it on, sit back and get lost in the hills of Tuscany. This is a must have essential Bocelli CD.

Whenever I listen to his voice, especially for his pop music, I think of a saying, "Let me surround you with my love, and give you warmth and freedom." He fills my heart with warmth, and I feel I'm flying in the sky. He lights up my imagination and fantasy, I can see the sun rising on the horizon, the star shining in the peaceful night, I think there is so much hope in my own life, and so many beautiful things in the world.

Years ago I was given this recording (LP) by a friend of mine. I couldn't be more impressed by the beautiful voice of Luigi Alva; it's such a beautiful musical program that somehow disapeared from my collection. It took me many years to find this magnificent recording. I've listened to these seleccions by other tenors; and very good ones, but Luigi Alva's heart and soul in these interpretations have no rival. Bravo Amazon for carrying this album.

A wonderful Renaissance cd, I love the fine musicianship of all the instrumentalists and I particularly admire Geraldine McGreevy's bold and audacious interpretation of these songs. One of my favorites is #24, a lyrical instrumental piece, beautifully done. I highly recommend this cd!

A great cd at a very low price.......2003-05-13

If you enjoy spanish renaissance music, this cd is a must have. The songs vary widely from one to another: sacred and secular - vocal and instumental. The instuments used are pimarily: lute, guitar, drum, and recorder. I do not recall hearing any of the reed instuments of that era, crumcorns, etc. Buy it and enjoy.

Luisito is one of the most talented singers who has pass by Cali Colombia, the Salsa's world Capital. Luisito is impressively out of control and magic in his song Sin tu Amor. Para ser real is another good song on this album. IN para ser real you really would need to dance. The hornets go beyond any normal time. This is an amazing attack to dancers. You must enjoy this Cd if you like to salsa!.

No surprise to me that this album is great. Luisito Carrion is an extremely talented salsa artist who is well known for is energetic and charismatic salsa. This album is no exception. I have owned it for two years, played it seldomly but recently started playing it again and it has been a delight. All the songs are danceable, upbeat, and puerrtorican all the way! Some songs however will definitely catch your attention and for sure you will hit the repeat button more than once. The platinum tracks are: "La chica mas popular" , "Amiga mia" "Para ser real" and "Muriendo". If you like authentic salsa, purchase this one while you can because Luisito takes long absences between productions. You will enjoy it.

This is what dancers of our music are looking for when in the mood to dance salsa. Argueably one of the 3 0r 4 best soneros of Puerto Rico. "Sin Tu Amor " is all music for stepping. If you learn the soneos, Luisito (as usual) will give you the words to whisper, as you turn her. EXCELENT!

2003 Album from Argentinean Singer/Actress. Mihanovich Made her Professional Live Debut in May of 1976. Captivated by Music and Acting, the Artist Started Playing Guitar at the Age of 11 and Participated in Different Plays with her School's Theatre Company. Sandra Mihanovic Got her First Role in a Movie Called Los Medicos, Acting Along with Angel Sola and Carlos Estrada. She Has Recorded with Celeste Carballo.

Sandra's angelic and powerful voice is clearly demonstrated in this, her 15th album.

I have been a fan of her music for a long time and I was not disappointed with this new record. Every song is great.
When you insert the CD in your computer you get a beautiful surprise. There is an interactive program that contains a video of the recording of the CD. Sandra takes you through each and every song, introducing them to you in a manner that can only be experienced by watching the video. After this introduction you can hear the songs and they sound familiar right away.

Don't miss this CD. It's simply sensational.
