The Best in any Collection.......2004-02-23

I have all of Misia's CDs, plus many more fado albums, and I have no hesitation in saying, like the first reviewer, that this is the best. Some tracks stand out, such as Danca de MÂ‡goas, where the poem is by the great 20thC poet Fernando Pessoa, NÂ‹o me chamem pelo nome, with words by the 19th/20thC gay poet, Antonio Botto, and Da vida quero os sinais. These all bring me out in goosebumps, but the album as a whole makes for very fine listening. Misia has just been made a chevalier des arts et lettres by the French government, and it may not be long before she is properly recognized in the Anglo-Saxon world as one of the greatest voices of her generation and a true heiress to the great AmÂ‡lia.

I love misia's voice. It is unique and full of passion and emotion. I believe that she is the modern day Amalia Rodriguez. Garras Dos Sentidos is the second Misia album that I have purchased, and while it is very much up to her high standard of quality, It is not as beautiful as Paixoes Diagonais. I only wish that more of her music becomes available here in the U.S.A.

Brilliant vocals...........2001-03-26

I was desperate for a good fado fix and this did the job! Her vocals are strong and smokey: she sings her heart out! She doesn't sing to please the quiet calm some people may be seeking in Portuguese music, but rather an emotional course of notes and vocal projections that capture the essence of the pieces on the album.

This one is definitely a "keeper"!

When I first listened to her voice I fell under her spell. Misia will become a first voice in the history of music. Her performances are completely unique, as well as herself. Danca De Magoas and Estatua Falsa are maybe my favourite songs, but each one of the recordings are solid gold. You will not be dissapointed if you are the type of person who really enjoys emtional music.

Perfect voice, sensational poetry, beautiful instrumentation. I could go on and on. Garras Dos Sentidos is by far the best CD I have found in years! Am trying to obtain earlier recordings of Misia, and welcome any suggestions on how to do so. Seems like none are available in U.S. This is a must for any music lover!

Sentidos Opuestos is a good dance group (not like Kabah who tried but failed) Alessandra Rosaldo's vocals shine in this collection:
1. Donde estan (4/5) a peppy dance number that sounds like a cross between LFO and Hex Hector
2. Amor de papel (5/5) a ballady dance number that i like
3. Escribime al cielo (4/5) the intro aint bad..but it goes on like a dancey pop number mixed with 80's disco
4. Atrevete (2/5) a ballad that sounds all country
5. Tu loco amor (3/5) A britney spears styled song good but it aint original
6. Ardiente Tentacion (3/5) A classical themed ballad
7. Historias de amor (5/5) a dark disco pop number that is vocoder-y
8. Cuando la pobreza (4/5) a high energy pop number that could have used a vocoder touch
9. Bajamar (2/5) reminds me too much of Cher
10. Eternamente (5/5)A r& b song fused with pop disco
11. Mirame (1/5) jazz themed pop..dont go with every thing
12. Fuego y pasion (3/5) high spirited pop theme, reminds me of Stock/Aitken/Waterman...
13. Fiesta (1/5) the theme song to Sonadoras changed..i hate it. the original was better

classy, intelligent and what a voice!.......2005-03-27

The previous viewer is sure right in saying, "the biggest voice in Spain." Rocio Jurado has a huge voice and she knows how to use it. For me this is strange music. I was not sure to make of it. Most of the arrangements are for strings only wiht flamenco hand-clap-like percussion. Over this, Rocio blasts out flamenco like melodies so grand that it borders on opera. Shades of Carmen! Some might find it slightly corny, but if you give it a fair listen, you will find that it's solid, tasteful, and beautifully sung.

this is perhaps one of the best of this incredebly talented artis, her voice will make you shiver with emotion and by listening you will be transported to Spain for she is the embasador of the Spanish sound, she will make you feel and touch her voice.....

I have been a fan of Sentidos opuestos since their sophomore album, with awsome dance beats, lyrics and Alessandra's soft beautiful voice. Hoy que no estas is a spanish version of Madonna's one more chance not exactly the same but it has the same music. Tu loco amor, esta noche, eternamente, and my ultimate favorite Nada, has a powerful message behind it . You dont have to know spanish to love this cd. try it out.

Well what can I say, I am a big fan of them and I bought the album the day it came out. What a surprise. They are still pumping out great dance tunes with the style that made them famous, while adding some new things. Tu Loco Amor has rap, Promises is in English and they still sound great. Also it comes with enhancement that has a video for Tu Loco Amor and an interview with the artists. I love the album the first time I heard it which is very rare. I just like their beat. If you like their old stuff you will like this one and if you wanna try an album by them this is the best one to date.

Sentidos Opuestos scores another knockout with their latest effort Movimiento Perpetuo. Continuing the momentum of their previous 2 releases, Viviendo del Futuro and Viento a Favor, the Mexican duo brings us another fantastic mix of upbeat dance tunes and ballads. Alejandra continues to evolve into a world class artist with her first English track, "Promises". While "Tu Loco Amor" is currently tearing up the latin charts, other possible hits are "Esta Noche" and "Así Es Tu Amor". Even if you don't speak spanish, you will enjoy the vocals of Alejandra and the uptempo dance tracks. Buy it! You won't regret it.

this album is better than the first. The dance songs are much better and there are alot more of them. THis album also has great ballads. They are a really good group with a great female vocal. The song Amor The Papel is great. Also Fiesta is great with a funny video.

This is Sentidos Opuestos' second and best cd! All the trax, even few ballads are good! Most trax are dance. it features "tu y yo" "amor de papel" and the song "sonadoras" from the novela although the words and title are different "Fiesta" over all this is a great cd! by the way, the vocalist ALESSANDRA is very beautiful!

Good, but no match for Fey........1999-10-14

Both this CD and Fey's "El Color de los Suenos" feature catchy dance-pop, but Fey's production team's creative use of percussion, sound effects and backing vocals make it clear who went the extra mile to provide "ear candy" to us listeners. "Tu y Yo" is a keeper, and if you're about the same age and gender as the protagonists of "Sonadoras," you could probably overlook "Fiesta"'s banality.
