This expandable system can handle up to 8 handsets. The 5.8 GHz technology offers you the best available performance when it comes to clarity, range, and security. To be on the 5.8 GHz wavelength means you're on a much less trafficked area of the bandwidth than both the 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz products occupy. This 802.11/Wi-Fi friendly phone will not interfere with your wireless network.
The answering machine offers three separate mailboxes and a 15-minute total record time. The phones feature caller ID with call waiting functionality (with service subscription), a 50 name/number CID memory, and a 50 name/number phonebook directory. It offers a unique recordable musical ringer function, which lets you personalize ring tones by recording directly from PC or stereo equipment. Personalize your phone even more by downloading images directly from your PC into the handset using the provided software and USB cord. The images can be used as wallpaper or assigned to all 50 people in your caller ID directory. Other phone features include:

I just got back from returning this phone. I purchased it at the local BJ's for $42, it wasn't worth that. The person I was talking to sounded like they were in a hole and the battery didn't last long at all, probably because of the photo storage and other features. I liked the concept of downloading songs and pictures to attach to callers, but I need it to work well first.

This is the one I won't need to change for some long while! I love it. It got so many features and capabilities and although I am not a technical person, it was intuitive to figure out how to perate these different features. It also adds beauty and elegance to my living room with its gorgeous appearance.

I love this cordless phone. The quality of voice is great, the looks is elegant and is affordable at $135. It's extremely advanced. I download my favorite ring tones to it right from my PC and I attach them to different callers. I also download images for the LCD screen. I had a 2.4 GHZ cordless phone beofre and it used to interfere with my wireless Internet. Now with this 5.8 GHZ phone, Internet and phone are in two separate bands, and I never lose Internet connection while I am on the cordless phone.
I definitely recommend it.
