The Polycom Quad NT-1 videoconferencing system is a compact NT-1 device designed to provide a link between the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and any central-office switching equipment. The system provides the functionality of four NT-1 devices and converts each U interface to a pair of S/T interfaces for full operation of each Basic Rate Interface.

The interface for your ViewStation will support up to four ISDN lines, thus taking the place of 4 separate units, providing conferencing over multiple ISDN lines for higher quality. The Polycom NT-1 system also comes with a 16-watt AC power adapter for use in video and data conferencing or low-power ISDN phones.
