What Is AOSS? Setting up a secure wireless network can be too complicated, involving many tedious steps and requiring a certain level of expertise to complete. BuffaloÕs AirStation OneTouch Secure System (AOSS) allows you to create a hi-speed secure wireless connection with a push of a button and a click of the mouse. AOSS automatically detects and configures other AOSS enabled wireless devices and clients and seamlessly creates secure connections. A vast improvement over Linksys.......2005-10-18

Very easy setup without having to disconnect and reconnect Category cable from the host PC to the router. I like the upright case on feet, the cable connections in the back are easier to access. Gave up on my Linksys router after it continually dropped the wired connection whenever we tried to use streaming video.
The AirStation has nice web based software, easy to set up. I was up and running on both wired computers in minutes. Very happy with the product.

A really good wireless router that really works.......2005-02-26

I set this up at my house and my mom's house. At my house with DSL I was able to configure the Buffalo wireless router and connect using a Dell Notebook computer with Dell built in wireless card, I was also able to connect simultaneously with a friend's notebook computer. I configured the device directly with a desktop computer.

At my mom's house I had to connect a desktop computer to a cable modem wirelessly so I also used their desktop wireless card. I also setup up Wep security and used a network key ie password with no problem.

The only issue I had was really a Microsoft problem, but I read the instructions for the desktop wireless network card, and found out that I had to start Wireless Zero service. Also, although this starts automatically on my notebook computer, I still needed to manually re-start each time the computer booted for my desktop computer, even with the service set on automatic, so probably a Microsoft bug.

After trying a couple other wireless access points/routers, I found Buffalo's WBR2-G54S Wireless cable/dsl router to be the best and easiest to setup and use with different notebook wireless adapters. I give this product my highest recommendation on both price and performance.

Easy to set up, works perfectly 24/7/365!.......2005-01-24

I've been using this router for over a year now, and it's one of the best products in my office. It took less than 10 minutes to set up, and it's been working 24/7 since then.

Recently, I got another unit and set up a bridge between the two, connecting two wireless networks. No problem at all. Works perfectly.

What I like about the WBR2G54 is that it's very easy to use for non-experienced folks, and yet it allows you to accomplish fairly complicated tasks if you like to drill down to the more sophisticated menu items on the WBR2G54's web-based configuration page.

A great product from a great company, highly recommended.

I've used this Airstation for 2 years now. Here's the best part: I used this both in Korea and in the US, and it always worked great! Setup was painless and easy (although you better make sure you have the right settings in your operating system). Eliminating wires and surfing the web on your bed is well worth the money. This unit is also a great deal given the price. Thumbs Way Up!

Great deal for the money. WDS works with AirPort Express.......2004-12-03

I'm very happy with this unit having only taken it out of the box an hour or so ago. I've already managed to configure it with WDS supporting my Apple AirPort Express as a remote base station. YEAH!

The Buffalo web interface works just fine... so what if it doesn't look as sexy as the AirPort Admin? It works! And for under $70, it's a no-brainer.
