LinkStream2000 offers a totally integrated solution for connecting LAN-attached devices to a corporate network or the Internet. Cutting the cost of ownership and the need for multiple units, LinkStream2000 connects over local Ethernet networks or Wide Area Networks, using leased lines or ISDN. The LinkStream2000 provides a highly efficient way of connecting asynchronous serial devices such as thin clients, terminals, printers, EPOS tills, measuring equipment and other devices, over wide area networks using TCP/IP or IPX protocols. For terminal server applications, Telnet is supported. Alternatively, TruePort allows fixed TTY access to LinkStream2000 ports over an entire network.A single, flexible base unit also supports 8 serial devices and two leased line connections as standard. The unit can also be expanded to support up to 24 serial devices and an ISDN BRI connection. There is also an optional Twinax Terminal Server card available. The same base unit will support Voice over IP connections with an optional expansion card.Electronics:
