unlike the previous reviewer I did not have a dead pixel. in fact the dead pixel policy is pretty much standard across the board, even with companies like Dell.

I guess one should just buy LCD's from retailers with a no questions asked return policy (and no restocking fee)

As for the LCD, its not blazing fast in its response time and the resolution is 1024 x 768, but all in all the specs are pretty good.
