I'm very disappointed in the sound quality of these headphones. They are waterproof, but sound muffled.

I was excited about having waterproof headphones but these are very cheaply made and already there's a bad connection in the cable. They're also hard to get lined up properly in your ear canal and don't block out the water. This means the sound has different intensities as water goes in and out of your ears.

I would steer clear of these phones.

I really liked these headphones, they didnt sound too bad for something your listening to underwater. The first pair I had got a loose wire and started cutting in and out, till finally there was no sound at all. I thought that it was because I was too rough with them. So I got my second pair,I've only used them about 2 1/2 weeks( being very careful with them) and again the same thing is happening. For 25.00 to 30.00 I expect better quality. I'm going to try and get a replacement but You all know how that goes. Wish me luck.

Headphones are 5 star when submerged.......2007-05-12

The headphones are basic when played above water - but are superior when submerged. Also the ear plugs mention that they can be trimmed, I tried that and cut it too close. I will say that H2 Audio was very responsive to helping me correct my mistake. I am highly impressed with both the company and their merchandise.

To Small!.......2007-03-14

I have not actually used the head phones yet as they are to small. The one piece design that fits around the back of your head was just not big enough to fit my big cranium. I have a 22" neck so it would probably fit a regular joe just fine. My ratinhg is based on the fact that i couldn't not rate it because of the software,gets a 3 for design

I bought this for my son who snowboards alot. He says he likes this for protecting his nano and especially that he can operate his ipod with his gloves on. The only downfall is that it is pretty big and the reason he bought a nano was for the convenient small size. Defenitely waterproof. This thing is pretty indistructable and does a great job keeping the moisture out.

I love swimming indoors, but have become bored with the monotony of swimming lap after lap after lap. I purchased this product in attempt to get excited about swimming laps again, and to get back into the pool. I must say, it has been a huge success. Swimming to my favorite upbeat, fast-paced tunes has greatly increased my motivation to get into the pool, and to stay longer! As for the product itself, I haven't tried the arm band yet.. I have been just tucking it into my swimsuit and it stays in there. It has proven to be 100% waterproof, and has protected my precious nano. The volume is good. I'm still fidgeting with the headphones.. they are very comfortable, and you can adjust them many ways. The only drawback is.. if water gets into your ear, past the headset's ear plug, you can still hear the music, but it is a little bit muffled. Depending on how you swim, the water could go in/out of your ear, making it muffled then not muffled then muffled again. When no water is in your ear, the sound is as good as my regular ipod headphone on land! I decided that rather than get frustrated by the muffling, I would just let the water go into my ears (not try to seal it), and be satisfied with the slightly muffled sound. I can still hear the words & the music, and it still lights up my workouts.

I don't know what went wrong with this. It certainly appeared to be sealed, but the minute it went into the water, it leaked a LOT and ruined my new nano. The nano didn't seem to fit all that well, and it was hard to close. VERY distressing. I was really looking forward to this.

Protect your nano.......2006-11-10

I purchased this housing for the older version of the nano with the metal backing and I have had nothing go wrong. I bought the headphones that are made for the housing and the first thing I did was fill up my sink and dropped in my nano, kerplunk. Works great. Works as advertised and with the sport armband you are ready to do intense workouts and jog in the rain with no worries.

Overall, it's a great high quality product that protects your nano and is comfortable to wear. Just beware that your stock nano headphones cannot be used with the housing so you're going to have to keep in mind that you need to buy the H_2_O headphones to go with the housing.

4 out of 5 only because the stock nano headphones are useless with this case on.

Protect Your Investment.......2006-08-28

iPods are not inexpensive. I actually left mine in my jeans and washed it. Gone, right? No. Remarkably, it still worked. I can't believe an Apple product did so well, so major kudos to Apple! This enclosure will protect it from all moisture, but don't try to go far underwater with it - it means 10 feet maximum, before water pressure dooms it. It's great with skiing! It also helps with those clumsy drops and fumbles. Well worth the price.

I just bought these speakers because I have a white 13' Macbook (and Macs infamously have wretched speakers). These sound AMAZING, especially compared to my laptop's speakers. They match my computer very nicely and don't take up much space at all. For the price, they are a great deal for someone who doesn't feel like shelling out a lot of money for speakers. Logitech is a great brand - I have their Bluetooth headphones and a Bluetooth wireless mouse.

Don't be scared! It's great!.......2007-06-21

This product makes me giddy!! I was a little aprehnsive about taking my iPod underwater but after all the research I did here and elsewhere nobody had a bad experience with it. I bought it for swimming laps (leisurly pace) and I thought it might be a little cumbersome but when you're in the water the thing is weightless and even strapped to my arm it doesn't bother me in the least. You MUST buy their headphones seperately, it doesn't come with them and you have to use them or it is not waterproof. I think this is my favorite iPod accessory, besides swimming with it I take it to the spa and in the bathtub!

This device is great. When first listening to it out side the water, the sound is good and basic. When the headphones are submerged, the sound appears to be in stereo.

Also, I created a problem for myself by cutting the ear plug too close and water would get between my ear and the plug. H2 Audio was prompt in responding and gracious in helping me to get back to where I was before trimming the ear plug. My recommendation is to not trim the earplug, unless it is a major disturbance.

I purchased this waterproof case for my iPod to have by the pool and protect my investment while I was in Cancun. I chose this case because I wanted to have access to the controls while listening to the iPod. I received this case promptly and it worked flawlessly, I even had it with me in a hot tub where it was submerged a few times. I recommed this case if you are near water, listen to music, and want to protect your iPod from accidental splashes or even submersion.

This is a very comfortable case to use. I keep my Ipod in it all the time. I have used it swimming with the h2o head-set and really enjoyed the experience.
I also use my Ipod while I ride motorcycles, I feel it provides great protection all around.

For Budget Buyers Only!.......2007-02-05

I went on a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. The pictures I took with this camera were ok. I'm glad I got the email of someone else on the boat and got their digital photos, they were beautiful. I'd recommend to anyone going diving to pony up enough to get a decent digital camera. Oh, and if you do buy this one, remember to TURN IT ON before you dive. Nothing will infuriate you more than lining up a white-tip reef shark then realizing you have to open up the case to turn the darn thing on. Why they didn't design it to be turned on underwater is a mystery.

Sport Diver II Camera.......2007-01-26

I used this camera once and have no good photos to show for it. It took 5 frames then skipped several and took 2 more, then nothing for the rest of the roll. We swam with sharks and I have nothing to show for it. Should have bought a disposable one.

I bought this camera for my honeymoon, as I expected to do a lot of snorkling and thought that the price compared favorably with purchasing several waterproof disposable cameras. The camera and case functioned properly and were easy to use. The pictures taken on land turned out swell. The undersea pictures were okay, but could have been better. The flash is automatic and, in my opinion, the camera would have taken much better photographs if it could have been activated manually. All in all, great for an inexpensive vacation camera, but don't expect to take pictures like Jacques Cousteau.

unhappy results.......2006-08-21

I purchased this camera for a friend to use in Hawaii. We had nothing but problems getting it to wind properly and the pictures both on land and underwater were all blurred and my friend was very unhappy and I was frustrated. I do not know if this is just a bad camera or what.

Norcross Hawkeye depth sounder for personal water craft.......2007-06-08

I purchased this product for a sea-doo jet ski. It is not an easy installation. as wire to display must be threaded up thru the handle bars.
Placement of of the transducer at the right spot on the bottom of the jet ski is a hit and miss challenge as it may take several tries to find the optimum spot. For in hull installation transducer cannot be mounted on wood, plastic, or aluminum more than 3mm thick.

Worthless!!.......2007-03-21

I bought this as a gift for my son in law, who took it snorkeling once. It leaked and is now worthless. Do not purchase.

Good package to start with........2006-12-27

I have used this camera on about a dozen dives to 85 feet and several snorkle trips with satisfactory results and no leaks. Just be sure to keep the seal clean and to inspect it closely after closing to ensure you did not pinch or roll the seal. It's easy to handle and simple to operate in the water. After a couple hundred photos, I made a significant upgrade to a DC600, but the SL300 was a great package for me to be sure the large investment to upgrade would be worthwhile (and to give me confidence in the DC600 housing). My biggest complaint is that the flash button is automatically activated by pressure and the flash is always on below about 20 feet. This drains the battery as well as removes the option to not use the flash. Also, remember after shooting a roll of film, the rewind is motorized, but not automatic.

Look elsewhere.......2006-11-04

After successfully testing 1 roll through the camera at home, the camera broke before my first dive on vacation. The motor drive would not load the film correctly. I bought the cheapest encased point and shoot camera at the dive shop, which worked well.

Not bad at all for the price. I had a very sophisticated camera before so this one is a bit simplistic - BUT it still takes photos. I would NOT advise using 400 speed film AND the flash - all the pictures came out a surreal blue. Stays nice and dry - LOVE the wrist strap!

When a product gets a couple of good reviews and a LOT of bad ones, you have to suspect something is wrong. Listen to your suspicions in this case. Those two good reviews here on Amazon may be true, but then why so many bad reviews? And one reviewer wrote that he put silicon grease on the gasket...nothing in the instructions about that. So one of the positive reviews actually modified the product to make it work!

This is not a quality product. It leaked on the second roll of film, despite extreme care in seating the gasket. I have purchased single-use underwater cameras which give much better results, and I recommended those over this junk.

This was a poorly built camera system. the buttons on the case did not line up with the buttons on the camera.

Bought 2 of these in the airport as I left for holiday (because they had a flash which the Kodak ones did not, and advertised themselves to a greater depth). Now reading the other reviews I suspect they have a manufacturing default which renders them useless. Neither camera could advance the film properly, so that I only got 5 and 8 shots out of the two of them. It looks like you are taking the pictures as it advances the numbers on the top, but in reality you only end up shooting shot after shot over the same piece of film. My cases were water proof, but the film cartridge looks like it leaks light, as the un used film was still streaked. It's sad as we had some great shark and turtle dives. DON'T BUY THESE - get the cheaper Kodak at this end of the market!

Good Luck finding refills for this "reusable" camera .......2006-01-19

OK pictures for snorkeling but can't find refills that fit it. once you use the last refill you bought with it its a disposable.

Leakage of Bonica camera case.......2005-05-17

I had a very bad experience with Bonica Sea Explorer camera , but this might be common for Bonica underwater cameras that have similar housing where two halves are held together by the hinge on one side and the latch on the other. 5 days I tried to use it - each time inspecting o-ring very carefully and each time it was leaking. After I returned it to Bonica, they made a test in a pressure camera and declare that it is good up to 100 feet and to prevent leakage one should better clean the o-ring ( O, yes. I did not use a microscope for this, while on a cruise ship).

Try a Kodak or Fuji disposable underwater camera.

I particularly like the Fuji. They don't have flashes, so everything looks blue in the pictures, but at least they don't leak.

It is not a bad item if it cost less. The plastic cover is a soft plastic with a cut out for the buttons. It is made with cheap tearable plastic that does not seem to keep its shape. The arm band is too wide for me. It is a bulky item. I don't think it is worth the price.

I found this works better attached to the back of a speedo than on my arm. It's just too big.
